Seriously, James Gunn’s Superman is so good! After several attempts in recent years, I think the franchise has finally found its second wind. What an incredibly moving story. It was never about the flashy visual effects. It’s always been about the authenticity of the story.

People have often judged him unfairly, but as the noise fades and his flaws are weighed, we are slowly coming to realize that we once had a president so boring that he faded into the background, while the Philippines was given a rare chance to shine.
