NSF has reduced the research budget for all atmospheric, ocean, and earth sciences by ~80%. 80%! A lot of us will not be conducting new research or training new students for the foreseeable future.

cant wait to see Clark Cunt at the queer comedy/variety show tonight, what a good name

There's also the bit about European governments moving away from Microsoft, partially because they cant be trusted as an American company and partly due to fun stuff like Midnight Blizzard. But i guess those countries are just immature wittle babies, huh

Microsoft is both a partner and competitor for us, it is quite literally my job to study Microsoft's failings so we can beat them in business opportunities. It's productive for me to the tune of millions in revenue for my company when we beat Msft. But have fun spending good money on trash software!

Wowwwwww that is some neat freaking nature right there. Thank you for sharing with us!

Wasn't that song included with some old version of windows? I remember listening to that on repeat as a kid because we didn't have Internet, but we had that song

Your response is strange though, is there some cult i dont know about that i could join because i would like to meet like-minded microsoft haters. Why would this be a propaganda thing? It's super easy to hate software when you use it every day!

I was a lifelong Windows guy, switched to Mac for personal music production 2 years ago and now I rage at my work laptop every day as I am forced to use the Microsoft stack for my job. Truly every experience with Msft software is painful for me now.

Microsoft doesnt do a great job of anything, would not trust them with my passwords

120

yeah i think their leadership is wayyyy too far gone for there to be a rollback. i wouldnt have jumped ship so quickly if i thought there was a real chance of them seeing the light

now tell me why 1pass is offering prices that end in .88 on my subscriptions page 😭 they use regular .99 numbers on their main pricing page, why do i get the special heil hitler prices??

prices in my 1password account management portal. 71.88 and 47.88. 88 = HH = Heil Hitler

I just exported all my passwords from 1Pass and Bitwarden ingested them no problem. Seems like it'll be a pretty straight forward move aside from the passkeys not transferring

not every disagreement is a condemnation of evil, but you SHOULD disagree with people who ARE evil

at work i run a program that asks for feedback from buyers after we Win or Lose business deals with their company. just say something about seeking to continually improve the customer experience and it gives you cart blanche to ask questions like "why dont you like me"

discord notification in the video had me looking for phantom messages on my end

lmao we're going to a comedy show together on Thursday (as friends)
