Our Sad Snacks from Saturday’s show. 🌈 The MC had some trouble with gender nonconforming identities in our band bio, so we wanted to let you know that we are now “Non-Berry” especially with this cyclosporiasis going around. That’s a sad snack. 🤢

Indica in Decay has been on a brief hiatus while I (Ilan) have been finishing a novel and recording/gigging with @sadsnack.bsky.social Thanks to everyone who is still listening to our humble little synth rock opera. Act 2, Scene 4 will hopefully be out in the next few months!

Some cute, queer, rejoicing Snackers, photographed by @eyelicks.bsky.social Check out our full length album Vending Machine, if you haven’t. We’re 85% certain it is unrelated to the movie ‘Smashing Machine’ with The Rock. But not 100%. You be the judge - open.spotify.com/album/4r9l0I...

The buildup and hits in the intro to our song “Survive This” are a reference to “Just What I Needed” by The Cars. Originally, the hits had the whole band shouting “CARS” each time (sometimes in Joseph Joestar voices), but this was omitted on recording. Feel free to add “CARS!” at the live shows.

Jawbreakers are a sad snack, right? “If you can skank real hard, you can save us all, go on skanking prove us wrong.” “You’re not rude and I’m telling everyone” “dreamed I was a rude boy…. I just skanked and watched you mosh”
