They painted over the cool whale mural by the Dallas Aquarium for FIFA ads. 🤬

I don't trust people that dislike "filler episodes" on principle.

In the past month, I've read 6 of the 7 Dungeon Crawler Carl books. Just started on 7, so I can be all caught up in time to read the new Murderbot book next week (and meet @marthawells.com in 2 weeks!), then the new DCC book in a few weeks! app.thestorygraph.com/profile/indel

I really wish companies would stop using those awful adhesives on the batteries in electronics. Trying to replace batteries is scary with that stuff.

Got my ticket to see Metric (again) and BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE :D

As a DM, running encounters in the 2024 rules of D&D honestly sucks. And they turned what is usually quick with a group of experienced players (lower level encounters) into slogs with all the weapon mastery stuff.

Finished Whole Cake Island. What are the odds that I actually catch up before new episodes start? When I started the series, I thought it was going to have ended by the time I caught up!

I'm watching the Muppet Christmas Carol for the first time, and so far my favorite part has been Rizzo giving Gonzo a little kiss on the nose.

TikTok won't let me be happy (it keeps giving me videos with "in the pool" from Chainsaw Man)

I think I've come to the conclusion, this past month, that maybe I've always been more of Digimon person than Pokemon.

It's not just me, right? It's kinda shitty that CR has a streaming service, then still does theater exclusive premieres, and leaves their subscribers in the cold, right?

I think my biggest complaint about BL4 so far is that the boss fights are just slogs. I don't know if it's because I've just gotten used to playing more mechanically advanced games or what. But the boss of the first vault took over 10 minutes, not because it was hard, just so much health.

I'm not depressed, I'm the furthest thing from depressed. Could a depressed person do this? (this being eat 2 chili dogs and Nila wafers for dinner)

There is a guy at the Anamanaguchi show wearing a Straw Hat from One Piece, but he's somehow shaped it like a pork pie hat, like he's ready to say "m'luffy"

I still want to get back into cosplay. One Piece? But do I go Sanji....or Bon Clay? I already have everything I'd need to do Sanji, I'd just have to pick an outfit.

I am enjoying Borderlands 4, but I'm running into the problem I've been having with a lot of modern games. There is just too much visual noise, and it makes it really hard to see anything.

I think maybe the worst part of being single is not having someone to play through games with.

010 1

Sean K @indel.gg · 12/09/2025

I was not expecting the last game to be a new Fire Emblem. But sure! I need to actually play through the last 2 😅

Ooh, new Yoshi game. It looks like a spiritual sequel to Yoshi's Story.

I just wanted to play Borderlands. I guess we'll see if my computer can run it?

Well, BL4 crashed GeForce Now. Hopefully I don't lose the progress I just made...

Sean K @indel.gg · 11/09/2025

Getting a Steam Deck has been an absolute game changer for the way I play games. I've made it through so many indies that I had been putting off, and being able to stream heavyweights through GeForce Now is really nice.

010 1

Sean K @indel.gg · 11/09/2025

Really hoping BL4 is up on GeForce Now quick tomorrow. I decided to go with that over the Xbox cause it should look real pretty on everything I play on.

In the next few months, I have tickets for Father John Misty, Anamanaguchi, Wet Leg, Rilo Kiley, The Beths, and Blondshell. And I might go see Passion Pit and Phantogram too. So much good music!

Of course my AC goes out on the hottest day of the year so far.

I spent 6 hours training today, and in the second of two sessions, I called an icon of an eye a "peeper" by accident. Thinking back on that, I can't stop laughing.

HELL YEAH Rilo Kiley is playing in Dallas later this year, and tickets come out on pay day.

NEW SCOTT PILGRIM GAME WITH NEW ANAMANAGUCHI MUSIC!

Another game show where 90% of the games look exactly the same. What happened to stylistic games? Is that a space only for indies now?

Sean K @indel.gg · 02/06/2025

Should I stream on Fridays, since I'm off work on Fridays for the summer?

I wonder how many people they are screwing over this time.

I started properly cleaning my vault in D2 last night, and that was kinda tough. Getting rid of stuff I've held onto for so long. But since they aren't going to give us more space until maybe the end of the year, had to do it.

So my apartment flooded last Thursday, ruining every piece of art I had. I have to be out of there by this weekend, so I've been packing all week. New apartment in a few weeks. It's nicer, but more expensive. I wanted to do a birthday party for once, but looks like that's not happening.

010 1

Sean K @indel.gg · 25/04/2025

In case anyone was wondering how life is going, my apartment flooded yesterday. An inch of water through the whole apartment, and it ruined every piece of art and poster I've ever gotten at a convention (and my VR headset)

I feel like, in another life, I could have been an investagative journalist. Or PI. But I just found out one of my favorite couples broke up, and that's a bummer. But it definitely happened like, over a year ago.
