today's website tinker was figuring out how to show when I'm actively listening to music (with sooooo much help from tim!) and I am ~obsessed~ with how it turned out. now when I'm listening to something it shows an "on air" light and the album art spins, it's too cute actually

my third year in a #hobonichi and I've upgraded from the weeks to a techo hon. can't wait to scribble all over the giant day pages 🤩

ended up doing one machine- and one hand-stitched button hole, so I could compare! definitely felt more in control with the hand-stitched one, but my hand-stitching is messier compared to machine stitched. will have to try it again! #sewsky #sewing #garmentsewing

back to the Mitchell pants! tonight I'm attaching the waistband, which was about 4in short so I had to add some length mid-sew 🤷 been watching a ton of From Carly B on youtube; she inspired me to hand-stitch the waistband in place to make the finish is as clean as possible #sewing #garmentsewing

I didn't really believe a Roots of Chaos book could be fewer than 800 pages but Among the Burning Flowers pulled off the same deep world building and rich character arcs as the other, much longer, books in the series. already hungry for more of this world! #booksky
