I Want To Love You Until Your Dying Day (Anime, 2026) Pleasantly surprised that this adaptation was as well done as it ended up being. I have so much leftover trauma from SasaKoi, among others that anime adaptations of manga I hold dear make me inherently nervous.

i think in general parody becomes less funny without a degree of respect for what is being parodied. the reason the paul simon parody works but the nu metal one doesn't is because when you try to replicate something you hate you naturally go out of your way to make it suck more in hamfisted ways.
