To put it otherwise, a society that awards prominent prizes for art is at least signaling that art is a worthy pursuit. And, on balance, I think I prefer that (despite the downsides) to a society that sees art as unworthy of recognition. That is, of course, only one perspective.

Gold in 120 is absolutely the best value in MF color; Mpex has pro-packs at about $7.60 per roll. They also have a very good deal on TMY, which will not last; I bought some packs to freeze, will regret not buying more. Slides are not a good deal due to E6 costs, but Velvia anyway.

Typical of euphorbia, FWIW. They are just more aggressive than most. Interestingly, there are certain caterpillars that can eat them; they become hawk moths of some sort. Presumably, the caterpillars are toxic as fuck. They pollinate night-blooming cactus (or so it appears, based on my yard).
