I asked what this relatively isolated pocket of fire could've been. To their credit, most of the responses were respectful, but about 1 in every 10 were idiots who can't read and were like "well duh a plane hit the building dumbass."

TIL that the "Tribute in Light" isn't actually anywhere near the World Trade Center. I always thought those lights came from the pools, or at least were near where the towers once stood.

Whoever designed and approved Sky Pillar in Ruby and Sapphire is a bad person.

The fourth floor of Sky Pillar in "Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire" (2003). It composes of a labyrinth with cracks in the floor that the player must bike over with enough speed to surpass the gap, otherwise they will fall to the floor below and must try again.

As long as this is my current hyperfixation, I've been reminded that (to my knowledge) there's no behind-the-scenes pictures or videos showing how these things worked/were operated.

The Simpsons Game is a pretty good game and I recommend seeking it out and playing it yourself if you haven’t yet. But unlike Hit & Run, this game was an absolute chore to 100% that felt unsatisfying to actually accomplish.

I wasn’t too thrilled with the way Scorch was handled in Bad Batch, but given the lore that was established by this point, it makes sense. The inhibitor chip made him, like most other clones at this time, no better than emotionless, unthinking droids.

After 6. Nh3, black appears to capture a pawn on c3 with his bishop, which is illegal for two reasons: 1. Bishops do not move horizontally. 2. There's currently no pawn on c3. Then the board resets in the next cut and it all devolves into madness from there.

After waking up at 3am for the 3rd time in a row for some reason, I wondered if I could plot the whole game as seen in Geri's Game, but this is the last legal position I've been able to figure out. 1. e4, e5 2. f3, d5 3. Be2, Nc6 4. Na3, Bxa3 5. d4, Nxd4 6. Nh3

Grief is an unpredictable bastard. I was fine for a while, even having a nice time with my grandfather today, but then I found this in my photo app and now I’m almost certainly going to cry myself to sleep.

Not really a spoiler for TADC 9's story, but I do have something to say about something that happened in the movie itself. (Very mild spoilers.)

I just hope that the opening scenes of the movie (the one with the fish and Caine’s recap) are eventually released online. Those were too funny to become lost media.

Just saw this movie. Fantastic watch. I went in thinking I knew the answer and left feeling very unsure. Highly recommend.

The poster for the movie Doubt (2008), based on John Patrick Shanley’s play of the same name. Meryl Streep’s and Philip Seymour Hoffman’s characters are near the top of the poster on the left and right sides respectively, while Amy Adams’s character is below them. After seeing Big Yellow make a Lego necklace, I felt inspired to make one of my own. :3 Just gotta wait for the chains to get here...

A small Lego build. Most of the pieces are hidden behind a transparent purple ribcage, first seen in set 70793 Skull Basher from 2015.

That same piece from the back, revealing the transparent purple shell the ribcage is plugged into and a small collection of Technic bits that the chains will eventually connect to.

The same assembly held up to my chest in roughly the area I want it to rest once the necklace is completed.

I did some math and found a way to give Azulon his 23 years as Fire Lord and still give the in-betweener a feasible lifespan.

A Discord message from Charlotte (me!). It reads: "If Sozin had this heir at 55--which is still a bit higher than I'd like but certainly more feasible than 81--then that kid would've been 27 when Azulon was born. Then they would reign until their death in 72 AG at age 99, just in time for Azulon to begin his 23 years."
