Here are some of the declines in international student applications and enrollment revealed in a lawsuit challenging new duration of status regulations that would limit the ability to offer some programs of study and create administrative bloat on campus. www.insidehighered.com/news/global/...

📣 Call for papers for the Edited Volume “Islamic Feminism: From Theory to Praxis” Deadline extended to March 15, 2026! Please share widely!
This is a call for papers asking for submissions to an edited volume titled Islamic Feminism: From Theory to Praxis. This edited volume explores the way by which global Muslims engage with the Islamic feminist and or gender centric interpretive tradition to navigate their social realities as Muslims within their respective racialized, gendered and political context. Submissions may include traditional research articles, auto ethnography, case studies and creative works. We welcome discipline specific and or interdisciplinary approaches. Today we received our most recent impact factor scores and rankings for Sociology of Race and Ethnicity, the journal I co-edit with B. Brian Foster. SRE's 5-year impact factor score of 3.9 places us as the #1 social scientific journal for race scholarship anywhere in the world.
