Two of our Low Carbon Apprentices have been getting stuck in on site this week, helping to install a Ground Source Heat Pump and Underfloor Heating in an Elizabethan Gate House 🏰 Who said heat pumps aren't suitable for older buildings??🤔😝 #HeatPumps #Vaillant #DerbyCollege #LowCarbonApprentices

An apprentice is kneeling on a plastic-covered floor, working on the installation of an underfloor heating system. They are using a tool, possibly a drill or screwdriver, to secure or adjust components of the system, which includes pipes and fittings mounted on an exposed brick wall. Additional tools and materials are scattered nearby.

An apprentice is crouched in a utility space, adjusting a manifold for an underfloor heating system. The setup includes multiple valves, pipes, a red expansion tank, and control units mounted on the wall. Tools and supplies, such as a drill and a green tub labelled "PLUMB TUB," are placed on the floor next to the apprentice.

Two apprentices are standing in front of a partially installed ground source heat pump system. They are wearing high-visibility vests and holding long copper pipes. Behind them are several large heat pump units, a red expansion tank, and copper piping connected to the system, showcasing the progress of the installation in an industrial space.

A tranquil winter scene in Buxton, with a vast field blanketed in pristine, untouched snow. Footprints trail through the snow towards a lone tree with bare branches silhouetted against the golden sunrise. The sun beams brightly, casting a warm glow across the frosty landscape, while the sky transitions from deep blue to soft orange hues.
