Finished Fire Emblem Three Houses doing the Crimson Flower route and I have my complaints with how much time they force you to spend in the monastery, especially once you get higher professor levels, but overall I really enjoyed what I played as a first FE experience Excited for Fortune's Weave

God of War: Ragnarok: While I don't usually like this type of game a too much, they did a lot to make up for that. The gameplay is far above 2018 even in just variety, and the last 3 hours or so are a 10/10 experience.

Persona 4 Golden: This might be kinda cheating since I had 50 hours in this game before 2026 started but I did finish it in 2026 so I'm counting it. Unfortunately, I like this game quite a bit less than P3R, which is one of my favorite games ever. The pacing is just so much worse. Still really good

Resident Evil HD Remake: It's clear to see why this game set the foundation for the franchise and still influences the games now. The formula was perfected in the first game. I would argue that purely in how the game balances everything, this is the best RE game

Jujutsu Kaisen/JJK 0: The anime is still running but watched all 50+ available episodes, the JJK 0 movie and have been keeping up weekly now as The Culling Games arc releases

Code Geass: This is tied with One Piece as my favorite anime ever. They're too different for me to possibly pick one, however Code Geass is infinitely more rewatchable due to it only being 2 seasons. Probably the best ending in anything I've watched.

Gachiakuta’s character design is phenomenal Noerde is definitely the best character design so far but the others are still VERY far above average

My guess is it’s related to Elden Ring probably the movie and specifically Radahan in some way. People were confused about demon and animals mixed in but I think it’s because Radahan is known as the “Red Lion” and the lion is the king of the jungle which fits Geoff’s hint towards “regal” Also…

Immortal Thor ending (temporarily it seems) in July and Hulk getting a massive status quo change a month later. This is too scary for me please don’t be bad.

Rez @imrez.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

Al Ewing’s Immortal Thor run remains the best comic run going on right now Issue 22 is one of the best so far and Im excited for what’s to come as we get closer to the end in issue 25

This was on sale for $4 on the eShop so I figured why not. I’d heard good things. And those good things turned out to be true. I absolutely loved this game. The music and visuals are the standout but the platforming aspects and boss fights are a lot of fun Solid 4/5

It’s still so crazy to me that I’ve been waiting over 1/3 of my life for this game now. It’ll be 8 years since the initial reveal in June.

Rez @imrez.bsky.social · 29/03/2025

Immortal Thor might actually be my favorite comic run of all time and I never thought I’d read something better than Immortal Hulk Al Ewing’s writing is on a different level than anyone else’s

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is Monolith Soft’s biggest technical success, again. It was already impossible that it ran so well on the Wii U but it’s next level on Switch and I again have no idea how this game is possible.

I’ve done such a good job utilizing the “pretend something you’re really excited for that is super far away doesn’t exist to make the wait more bearable” strat but my patience is wearing thin and I’m getting impatient HURRY UP AND GET HERE ALREADY

Square Enix moving away from exclusivity, Nintendo having a strong relationship with them now, JRPGs selling way better on Switch compared to any other platform, and Nintendo finally buying Monolithsoft? It’s time for a Xenogears remake

-Clear my entire current backlog. I have too many games that I haven’t finished and this year is going to be massive for gaming so I want to finish as many as possible in the next couple months -Read 5+ complete indie comic runs. Last year I read Invincible and Deadly Class.

I posted something similar on Twitter last year but this’ll be my first time on here 2025 Hobby Goals 🧵: -Play more JRPGs. Persona 3 Reload was my first JRPG I played from start to finish and then I beat Metaphor a few weeks ago. I want to play more JRPGs starting with Xenoblade soon

Every time I see CEO salary increases and layoffs I think of Iwata taking a pay cut when the company was having trouble financially. If only other CEOs had 1% of the humanity he did.

It took me a long time to get the appropriate hardware and things needed to set up and play this game but I’m FINALLY playing Metroid Prime 2, right in time for it’s 20th anniversary! That leaves only Prime 3, Hunters, Other M, and Federation Force as Metroid games I haven’t played

Metroid Prime 2 released 2004 and is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary

Heard good things and decided to try this out It has not disappointed one bit. I’ve never played poker IRL or in a video game so learning the different types of hands took a bit but the gameplay loop is VERY fun and there’s a ton of variety in what you can do in one single run
