These GOP freaks wrote an amendment to give Trump a third term - but they included language to keep Obama from winning again 🤣

This Friday is the first day of the new Congress. They have to select a Speaker before the House can do anything. If everyone is there, Mike Johnson can only lose two Republicans. One already said they won't vote for him. And there are plenty of people upset with Michael thehill.com/homenews/hou...

The final House race has been called. Dems actually gained a seat in the end. And with Trump taking two House Repubs for his admin and Gaetz not returning, Repubs are down to a 217-215 lead for the first few months. That's a one-seat majority. The Repubs are screwed. They'll eat each other alive.

A second Trump nomination has imploded. After only THREE DAYS, Trump's choice to lead the DEA has had a change of heart. He said he has more work to do in his current job as sheriff of a county in Florida. But he's had the job for 32 years lol Hegseth next? www.cnn.com/2024/12/03/p...

I don't care if people think Bluesky is corny, an echo chamber, whatever. I like that everyone here is a real person, and knowing that the app isn't pushing an agenda.

Matt Gaetz withdrawing from the AG nomination is a HUGE unforced error by Trump. Trump fumbled an easy move before he even became president. He wasted political capital on this and now looks weaker after a big win just two weeks ago.

Sarah McBride, the first trans woman elected to Congress, says she'll comply with House rules restricting her from using women's bathrooms. I think it's a smart move by McBride. You have to pick your battles.

I don't think the timing could be worse for a trans woman to get elected to Congress. Republicans are going to be as cruel as possible to Sarah McBride. And I'm not sure Dems can do much about it. Do you think this gets ugly? Or can something good come from this fight? www.cnn.com/2024/11/18/p...
