Another view of the strings being recorded for our cover of Starlight by Muse. Haeden managed all the engineering and did an awesome job with VERY little time to record. #musicstudio #recording #indiemusic #muse

I've always been especially happy with this little bit. The original was really just synth, guitar, bass, and drums, and it gave me a lot of room to add flourishes and countermelodies. #songwriting #muse #starlight #strings

Not gonna lie, it took a REALLY LONG TIME to edit the music video, not least because the 360 camera just ... didn't look good in it. But it is certainly fun for social posts #360 #musicvideo #indiemusic #muse #cover

One of the fun things that happened on this music video shoot is that the sudden ending of the song inspired the musicians to make a big gesture at the end ... buuuuut sometimes you get into the zone and forget about such things #musicvideo #indierock #muse #starlight #musicmarketingmakesmewanttodie

My cover art for @impulsenine.bsky.social record releasing in May, and my vinyl mockup for it (the real release may not look the same!). The 3rd image is my artwork for their cover of Muse’s Starlight, featuring the same character. Feels like there could be a full tale to be told about her one day 👀

Still getting reviews for the album; it's still sort of surreal to realize people are, y'know, listening? I spent so long sitting with this thing on my own that I literally forget that my music can exist in others' minds without me being physically present and awkwardly bugging them about it.
