Disbelieve accusations • The media has made it a habit to spread spurious lies

• As for immoral actions, I don't really like Trump as a

It has been driven home to many people since the 1960s that 'racism is bad'. So rather than admit that 'I'm angry about Black and Hispanic people being as successful as White people so I vote Trump' they come up with 'alternative facts' to justify their support for him. \4

You've heard 'cruelty is the point'? It isn't just a talking point. Trump voters LITERALLY find cruelty more enjoyable than being kind to people than other voters. Malevolent vs. benevolent dispositions and conservative political ideology in the Trump era scottbarrykaufman.com/wp-content/u...
Excerpt from paper:

The current study also found that there was no difference between groups in cognitive empathy, suggesting that those who view Trump favorably know how others are feeling but do not care. These results are in line with research that shows persons with psychopathic propensities display a pattern of ‘inverted’ social reward in which being cruel is enjoyable and being kind is not (Foulkes et al., 2014). Relatedly, Strupp-Levitsky et al (2020) found that the moral intuitions of care and fairness are positively associated with empathy, and meta-analytic research shows that these moral intuitions are associated with a liberal ideology (Kivikangas et al., 2021). Taken together, empathy disturbances help to understand the association between malevolent personality and conservative ideology/positive view of Trump.

Assessing the individual microbial inhibitory capacity of different sugars against pathogens commonly found in food systems

Abstract

Highly concentrated sugar solutions are known to be effective antimicrobial agents. However, it is unknown whether this effect is solely the result of the collective osmotic effect imparted by a mixture of sugars or whether the type of carbohydrate used also has an individual chemical effect on bacterial responses, that is, inhibition/growth. In view of this, in this work, the antimicrobial properties of four sugars, namely, glucose, fructose, sucrose and maltose against three common food pathogens; Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Salmonella enterica, were investigated using a turbidimetric approach. The results obtained indicate that the type of sugar used has a significant effect on the extent of bacterial inhibition which is not solely dependent on the water activity of the individual sugar solution.

II.
The Nazis planned their first big round-up of the homeless almost as soon as they came to
power. In July 1933 the recently founded Reich Ministry of Propaganda was urging a
nationwide swoop on beggars, informing the welfare agencies of its intention in August
1933.9 The raid was preceded by a carefully orchestrated [p. 213] propaganda campaign.
'Guidelines' were issued to the press, portraying the forthcoming action quite cynically as a
pendant to the recently inaugurated Winter Aid Programme (motto: 'No one will freeze or
starve'):
„The psychological importance of a planned campaign against the nuisance of begging
should not be underestimated. Beggars often force their poverty upon people in the most
repulsive way for their own selfish purposes. If this sight disappears from the view of
foreigners as well, the result will be a definite feeling of relief and liberation. People will
feel that things are becoming more stable again, and that the economy is improving once
more. A successful action against the nuisance of begging can have important propaganda
benefits for the 'struggle against cold and hunger'. Once the land has been freed of the
nuisance of beggars, we can justifiably appeal to the propertied classes to give all the more
generously for the Winter Aid Programme now being set in motion by the State and the
party.“ 10
Accordingly between 18 and 25 September 1933 the police, supported by the SA and the
SS, organised a nationwide so-calIed 'beggars' week'. Large numbers of vagrants and
beggars were taken into 'protective custody' in the course of this action, some of them
directly from the doss-houses and night-shelters.

Trump orders crackdown on homeless encampments nationwide

WASHINGTON, July 24 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order urging cities and states to clear homeless encampments and move people into treatment centers - a move that advocates for the homeless said would worsen the problem.
The order directs Attorney General Pam Bondi to overturn state and federal legal precedents and consent decrees that limit local efforts to remove homeless camps. It remains unclear how Bondi could unilaterally overturn such decisions.

Body composition, exercise-related performance parameters and associated health factors of transgender women, cisgender women and cisgender men volleyball players

Abstract

Objective The inclusion of transgender athletes in competitive sports has promoted significant dialogue and controversy among exercise-related professionals. The objective of this study was to investigate body composition, exercise-related performance parameters and associated health-related factors of transgender women (TW), cisgender women (CW) and cisgender men (CM) amateur volleyball players.

Methods This was a cross-sectional study comprising TW, CW and CM amateur volleyball players eligible with the following characteristics: ‘gender incongruent’ (for TW only); age between 18 and 35 years; body mass index (BMI) between 18.0 and 29.9 kg/m2; ‘very active’ according to the International Physical Activity Questionnaire, and engaged in regular volleyball training for at least 1 year. All participants were assessed for body composition, blood biomarkers, handgrip strength, countermovement jump height (CMJ), squat jump height (SQJ) and maximum oxygen consumption (V̇O2max).

Results 69 amateur volleyball players were initially evaluated, but only 23 met the inclusion criteria and were included in the study (7 TW, 8 CW and 8 CM). Age (p=0.07) and BMI (p=0.26) were similar between groups. Estradiol (p=0.47), total testosterone (p=1.00) and haemoglobin (p=1.00) levels did not differ between TW and CW. However, analysis not adjusted by confounding variables showed that CM presented higher testosterone levels (p<0.001), haemoglobin levels (p=0.03), lean body mass (p=0.03), handgrip strength (p<0.001), CMJ (p<0.001), SQJ (p=0.012) and V̇O2max (mL/min) (p=0.001) compared with TW. When adjusted by confounding variables, all p values were <0.05, except for SQJ (p=0.062).

Conclusion TW athletes displayed similar exercise performance and biomarkers compared with CW but lower results compared with CM.

German Vanguard

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Vanguard: German Jewish Followers (German: Der deutsche Vortrupp. Gefolgschaft deutscher Juden) was a German association of pro-Nazi Jewish Germans. It was founded in February 1933 by the historian of religion Hans-Joachim Schoeps and dissolved in December 1935.[1]

Vanguard members were fiercely patriotic Germans who sought recognition as a Jewish political movement within the resurgence of German nationalism. They disdained Eastern European Jews and opposed Marxism, Zionism, and liberalism, while failing to grasp the uncompromising racial nature of Nazi antisemitism.[2]

Some of their members were also part of the larger Association of German National Jews, another group of Jews for Hitler outlawed by the Nazi authorities in 1935.

Schoeps went into exile in Sweden at the end of 1938, seven weeks after the Nazi Kristallnacht mobs destroyed most German Jewish businesses and places of worship and just before the organized persecutions of the Jewish people began in earnest.

Racism underlies seemingly race-neutral conservative criticisms of DEI statements among Black and White people in the United State bpspsychub.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

Abstract

We examined how potential job candidates react to a hiring organization that requests diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) statements, which conservatives in the United States and elsewhere have criticized as being unrelated to job function and inappropriately political or ideological. Across three studies (two of which were pre-registered), we compared reactions to requests for DEI (vs. teamwork or conservative values) statements as a function of race (Black vs. White), political conservatism and symbolic racism (Total N = 1108). When a DEI (vs. teamwork or politically conservative values) statement was requested, participants who were more (vs. less) conservative perceived the organization as less just, expressed less interest in the job, and expected poorer person-organization fit, even when a job-related rationale was provided. Further, participants who were more (vs. less) conservative evaluated a request for a statement consistent with conservative values more favourably. Thus, criticisms that DEI statements are overly political are not applied to other statements that might elicit similar concerns. Moreover, an internal meta-analysis suggested that the relationships of conservatism to justice and interest (but not person-organization fit) in response to requests for DEI (vs. teamwork) statements were not independent of racism. Findings were consistent with social dominance theory; racism may underlie seemingly race-neutral backlash to DEI statements.

American political conservatism is just bigotry The Evolving Nature of Generalized Prejudice Toward Marginalized Groups in the United States 2004–2020 journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.... "vastly increased its association with political conservatism (≈.41 in 2004–2008, ≈.70 by 2016–2020)
Abstract

Prejudices intercorrelate positively and can be modeled as a generalized prejudice (GP) factor that is considered robust and central to postulating that some people are relatively more prejudiced than others (i.e., prejudice is not purely contextual). Although past research documents changes in specific prejudices over time, the field tacitly assumes GP stability/robustness, an untested notion. Using nationally representative American National Election Survey 2004–2020 data (N = 21,998) assessing attitudes toward Black people, illegal immigrants, gay people, and feminists, we discovered that prejudices have become increasingly correlated over time. Initially invariant, from 2012 onward GP became variant and required correlated residuals between prejudices (outside of GP). GP vastly increased its association with political conservatism (≈.41 in 2004–2008, ≈.70 by 2016–2020) but less so with age, sex, and education. Indeed, best fit in 2020 involved a “GP 2.0” factor indicated by specific prejudices and conservatism. Implications regarding the nature of prejudice are discussed.

Massive Resistance and the Religious Defense of Segregation
“During the past two years there has been a deluge of materials spread
over the face of the South in which various Biblical proofs are given for
divine sanction of racial segregation . . . not only the ignorant wool-
hat-hill folk [are] accepting the exegesis of the hate mongers but the
more refined as well. . . . The pamphlets, articles, and tracts [are] writ-
ten by preachers and religious educators well known in the circle of the
target audience.” Thus observed Will Campbell, the progressive Mis-
sissippi Baptist expatriate, in 1957.1 The writer Lillian Smith confirmed
that “[t]here is a great deal of this kind of talk going around these days,
quoting chapter and verse, etc.” 2 Other religious leaders described how
“many segregationists cloak their activities with quotations from the
scriptures . . . [and] claims [are] made by certain ministers that the
Bible endorse[s] segregation.”3 Indeed, southern Christians seemed so
zealous to cite biblical proofs for segregation that Campbell concluded
“some of the racial hate being peddled in the name of Jesus Christ” con-
stituted “a strange and serious Christian heresy.” 4
The biblical case for racial segregation enjoyed a renaissance after
the Brown decision because religion itself seemed a threat to southern
apartheid. Religious assaults on segregation included the major denom-
inations’ support for Brown, the faith-based activism of many black
leaders, and the growing conviction in some circles that the Christian
faith mandated racial equality. While black activists and their sympa-
thizers wished that white religion would offer a more vigorous call to
racial justice, white southerners regarded as dangerous even the limited
support religion had conferred on the quest for black equality.

I'll give you a hint
County level map of religious adherence across the USA showing that the 'Confederate States' from the US Civil War is a nearly perfect map of where Baptists are the largest religious sect in the US.

It is almost like there is a underlying connection between these maps even at a separation of 164 years. Can you guess what it is?
Map of the United states showing that that the Confederate states that seceded to protect slavery during the US civil war are largely the same modern US states that have the most strongly anti-LGBTQIA+ laws today (164 years later). There are other states (Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and South Dakota that have very strong anti-LGBGTQI+ laws, but they were US Territories at the time of the US Civil war, not states.Map of the makeup of the US at the time of the US Civil War showing states that were part of the United States of America, states that were part of the pro-slavery Confederate States of America, and the areas of the country that were US territories at the time of the civil war.Map of US states with anti-abortion laws. The maps shows that the majority of them were members of the Confederate States of America during the US Civil war - 164 years earlier.

The map shows a strong break at the 'Mason-Dixon Line' that seperated the Slave states from the Free states.

The cognitive dissonance between around 80% of Trump supporters saying they favor 'democracy' while *SIMULTANEOUSLY* 45% of them say they favor a "Strong leader who doesn't have to bother with Congress or elections" is stunning. The two are utterly incompatible
Graph from survey by @BrightLineWatch showing relative support for different types of political systems. The line for 'Democracy' shows Trump supporters having around 80% support. The line for 'Strong leader, not bother with Congress/elections' shows them with 45% support for 'strongman' government without elections or a Congress.

It has also been used to object to both gay rights and racial civil rights. Its an 'all-purpose' anti-civil rights conspiracy theory from white supremacists: "The Jewish Communists are behind it!"
Newspaper clipping from The Colfax County Press. Dated 25 June 1958. Page 7.

The Jewist Stake in Integrating White Christians. Integration is the No. 1 objective of the Communist Party to destroy the White Christian Race, as set forth in their platform. It is fully and officially endorsed by Jewish Rabbis, Organized Zionist Jewry, and their official publications. Perhaps one explanation for the Jewish alignment with the Negro Race as against the Whites is this quote from The Pittsburgh Courier (leading Negro newspaper) for May 3, 1958Screenshot excerpt from web page titled "What is Cultural Marxism" by William S. Lind. Published 18 August 2016.

"Most importantly, the Frankfurt School crossed Marx with Freud, taking from psychology the technique of psychological conditioning. Today, when the cultural Marxists want to do something like “normalize” homosexuality, they do not argue the point philosophically. They just beam television show after television show into every American home where the only normal-seeming white male is a homosexual (the Frankfurt School’s key people spent the war years in Hollywood)."

It is worth noting that "Cultural Marxism" is a well known dogwhistle for "Jewish plot" that has been around for decades. It's an *anti-Semitic conspiracy theory*
Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Cultural Marxism" refers to a far-right antisemitic conspiracy theory that misrepresents Western Marxism (especially the Frankfurt School) as being responsible for modern progressive movements, identity politics, and political correctness. The conspiracy theory posits that there is an ongoing and intentional academic and intellectual effort to subvert Western society via a planned culture war that undermines the supposed Christian values[note 1] of traditionalist conservatism and seeks to replace them with culturally liberal values.

A revival of the Nazi propaganda term "Cultural Bolshevism", the contemporary version of the conspiracy theory originated in the United States during the 1990s. Originally found only on the far-right political fringe, the term began to enter mainstream discourse in the 2010s and is now found globally. The conspiracy theory of a Marxist culture war is promoted by right-wing politicians, fundamentalist religious leaders, political commentators in mainstream print and television media, and white supremacist terrorists, and has been described as "a foundational element of the alt-right worldview". Scholarly analysis of the conspiracy theory has concluded that it has no basis in fact.

He cannot pardon civil contempt rulings supreme.justia.com/cases/federa...
Quote from court ruling 'Ex Parte Grossman'

In our own law, the same distinction clearly appears. Gompers v. Bucks Stove & Range Company, 221 U. S. 418; Doyle v. London Guarantee Company, 204 U. S. 599, 204 U. S. 607; Bessette v. Conkey Co., 194 U. S. 324; Alexander v. United States, 201 U. S. 117; Union Tool Co. v. Wilson, 259 U. S. 107, 259 U. S. 109. In the Gompers case, this Court points out that it is not the fact of punishment, but rather its character and purpose, that makes the difference between the two kinds of contempts. For civil contempts, the punishment is remedial and for the benefit of the complainant, and a pardon cannot stop it. For criminal contempts, the sentence is punitive in the public interest to vindicate the authority of the court and to deter other like derelictions.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
