Wow. I recently wrote an article about a new piece of infrastructure that is set to destroy the habitats of water birds near where I live. I included a Rosa Luxemburg quote in it. I wish I had known about this letter.

My vain hope is that someone out there cares enough about F4W to buy it back from the AI content farm it was sold to. Like how The Onion was rescued from its race to the bottom. Unfortunately Meltzer just isn't concerned about his name being attached to this junk and if he doesn't care, who will?

Michael Cole ranks Money in the Bank among WWE's biggest events.

The point of these initiatives isn't to develop talent. WWE knows they don't have spots on the main roster for most of the people in developmental. The point is to monopolize the industry by hoarding as much talent as physically possible.

It looks like ID is going the way of the dodo, but there will be another one in a few years time. Every couple of years WWE for some reason decides they need another talent pipeline in addition to their already massive developmental program. They always abandon it after a while.

Setting aside the implication of being a mark for the letters instead of the numbers, what is with this phenomenon of recent WWE signees bragging about how little money they make? Vaquer did it as well. The only possible outcome of this would be to drive down the cost of labour.

I'm watching it right now, having never seen it before. I think if this had aired in 2006, I would have considered it a piece of infotainment with the presenters playing up for the camera. There were so many fake ghost hunting shows during that time that were presented as real.

It's yt-dlp Alan. It works through command prompt and if you have no experience using CMD it can look intimidating but it's super easy (I'm illiterate and I figured it out quickly). Don't even bother with shitty browser tools. This will make your life so much easier. github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp

The question, of course, is which RE game does it capture the experience of? Resident Evil 2? Resident Evil 6. Those would be two completely different movies and the former would be much more interesting to me than the latter.

Okay, this is the review I was hoping for. I personally don't care at all about Leon or Chris not being in it (and I actually think it's better than they are not). What I've always wanted was a gameplay accurate RE film because I think there is so much there that could translate brilliantly to film.

‘Resident Evil’ Review: Zach Cregger’s Relentless Adaptation Is the Future of Video Game Movies, Even When Too Goofy for Its Own Good
Austin Abrams runs into a zombie apocalypse in a lean, mean thrill ride that captures the experience of playing the 'Resident Evil' games. Review.

I had not heard of this Elephant Graveyard channel before now and what I'm wondering is: How many hours of shit comedy did he have to sit through in order to compile this incredible dossier on Joe and his followers?

There's also the fact that he's 34 now while his dad was 27 when he debuted. He's missed his peak athletic years and has a far shorter timeframe in which to get good.

Might have been Rovert. I died when I read it because, despite how ludicrous it is as a scenario, I can so easily picture it.

I can't remember who it was but when the TKO contracts thing became news somebody joked that Johnny Gargano marched into Triple H's office and demanded his contract be restructured. This image comes to mind every time I read about someone getting their salary cut.

I'm not much of a weekly AEW follower at the moment but there was some unbelievable quality on All In and on a production level that was breathtaking while also pleasurable to sit through. NJPW is the only other company that could pull it off because the actual industry leader hates its fans.

Without turning this into a cringe "thank you Tony" thing, these London AEW weekends in which satellite promotions put on their shows have revitalised me as a live wrestling fan. Without these there would be 16 Carat, the eventual trip to Japan, and nothing really else?

Wembley Stadium, as anyone who has been here knows, isn't a great venue for watching the wrestling part of a wrestling match, but the production is unlike anything else and that's what you are here for. When you are in a massive stadium and suddenly the lights go out, it is pretty cool.

It's a healthy stat for a feud between the current ace and future ace, as opposed to the ace vs the number 2/3 guy.
000
Conor @imparter.bsky.social · 30/08/2026
This feud is kind of interesting because Anzai already has a definitive win over Miyahara, which differentiates it from Miyahara/Lee, Miyahara/Aoyagi etc. It's a bit serendipitous because there's no way imo it would have happened without Nakajima screwing up plans.

I was asking the same question earlier today. It never doesn't work.

I actually didn't see the main because I left early. If you haven't seen Anzai Vs Miyahara you need to do that pronto.

A good match but not worth getting an alternate stream if you have other things to do.

Wrestling has been waiting for a match like Oiwa vs Uemura for a long time: A main event in a big company built around amazing fundamentals. In ring innovation is limited by the fact that the human body is only capable of so much, so it was past time that somebody bring it back to earth.

I dislike how they've made him their own version of CMLL's Tirantes: The ref who is so gullible and stupid that he's responsible for half of all heel victories. That shouldn't be a role in any company but Bryce makes it worse because he takes such bad looking bumps and is so goofy all the time.

Conor @imparter.bsky.social · 27/07/2026
I'm so tired of Bryce

Conor @imparter.bsky.social · 27/07/2026
Absolutely. There is so much oppertunity for comedy in preliminary matches, there's no need to undercut a match that the audience is supposed to take deathly seriously.

Conor @imparter.bsky.social · 21/07/2026
AJPW is much better when they don't fill their shows with C grade wrestlers from America, or let comedy permeate up and down the card, or let their titles be monopolized by wrestlers from other companies, and simply book their native roster like stars who are then motivated to work really hard.
000
Conor @imparter.bsky.social · 21/07/2026
If anyone wants a trip back to 2005 then the latest AJPW Korakuen is for you. The main card essentially consists of four tag matches and it's just guys being dudes and beating each other up in front of a white hot sold out crowd.

Yuki Arai was crowned back in March and is now one of the biggest draws this company has ever had. This is a level of star making success that pretty much no other company has achieved this year and should probably start creeping onto the radars of pundits who cover Japan.

Conor @imparter.bsky.social · 18/07/2026
Yuki Arai had the biggest win of her life and best match of her life today, defending her title against Miyu Yamashita. This was the biggest non-Jan 4th attendance in Korakuen TJPW has ever had and their third straight 1k+ show at Korakuen, something this company previously never did.

I would like all public uploads of Wrestlemania 8 and Wrestlemania 24 to be deleted. We can keep them on a Google Drive for ourselves but wrestlers can't have access.

I just watched Max vs Kenny. The body of the match was great but I could have done without the five hundred thousandth spot of the year where a wrestler hesitates to hurt their opponent.

It has been a long time coming but I finally watched Peter Capaldi's first season of Doctor Who. It was good but also heavily buoyed by the strength of the principle actors. The Doctor/Companion relationship goes in a completely uncharted direction during this season and it's so damn compelling.
