I understand your opinion on this but, for me, a gift is a gift. If you’re not willing to spend the money then that’s ok. Just gotta acknowledge that it’s a you thing and not on the lady especially if they didn’t ask you to send them anything. And I truly say this with respect and no shade.

That’s a great jump off point. Once you get more comfortable with the recipe you can play around with it and make it your own. I make cinnamon bun dough instead of biscuit dough. It’s more forgiving and allows for you to par bake ahead of time and finish before serving. Hope this helps!
