Our first mass spectrometry based single cell proteomics dataset is opnely available. Explore protein abundance profiles across all tumour associated neutrophil populations. And thanks to @wellcometrust.bsky.social we have funding to develop new visualisations and modules for SCP. #immunosky

Excited to share our work at @natcomms.nature.com We used single cell proteomics to define the functional heterogeneity of human neutrophils in glioblastoma, finding pro and anti-tumorigenic effector states invisible to scRNAseq. SCP will revolutionise immunology, this is just the start

Single cell proteomic analysis defines discrete neutrophil functional states in human glioblastoma - Nature Communications
Neutrophils infiltrate glioblastomas with the capacity to engage pro/anti tumoural responses. Here the authors developed proteomic workflows to stratify neutrophil heterogeneity by function. This work...

I am overjoyed to present our latest paper on Autophagy in CD8 Tcells! www.nature.com/articles/s41... It was, as all ‘sciencing’ is, a huge team effort. I will try to do it some justice in the following thread 😊 1/n @cantrell-lab.bsky.social @immpres.bsky.social @ajmhowden.bsky.social

Autophagy repression by antigen and cytokines shapes mitochondrial, migration and effector machinery in CD8 T cells - Nature Immunology
Sinclair et al. combine quantitative proteomics and an autophagy flux reporter to map autophagy substrates and triggers during CD8 T cell differentiation. Proteins degraded and fueled by autophagy in ...

Data is on ImmPRes @immpres.bsky.social and full paper on @elife.bsky.social elifesciences.org/articles/53725 This was an old dataset so it is DDA based LFQ with 8 fractions. Coverage was good but it has the normal issues of label free DDA

Myc-dependent induction of amino acid transporter expression in response to T cell receptor activation is essential to enable T cell proteome remodelling upon immune activation.
