imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 27/07/2026RIP Keigo Higashino, a Japanese murder mystery master. I've almost read all of his English translated works and they're all 5 out of 5 bangers. "Devotion of Suspect X" and "Malice" are some of the greats. 000

imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 19/06/2026Huh, I loved P4 and P4G but nothing added to Persona 4 Revival makes me wanna run out and play it day 1. It does *look* nice though. 020
imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 16/06/2026Getting it to work with the SuperStation One was the worst part. I was never a PC gamer so refresh and resolution compatibility shit was so confusing. Anyways, very happy with how it turned out. 010
imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 16/06/2026My weekend project was saving this monitor used as a doorstopper at work, cleaning it up, getting it working with the SuperStation One, and finding a cheap set of Logitech speakers at goodwill. 000

imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 09/06/2026This is how you do it Square Enix. Switch 2 editions that actually run at 60fps, adds new content, and has upgrade paths. Plus I bet they're full game-on-carts too. Maybe I'll switch over and become a Xenoblade fan. 000
imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Jeez, Square Enix has been absolutely horrible with this shit for the Switch 2. Just a resolution bump and boost mode? No upgrade option? No cross save? GKC-only?! Fuck off and watch me gush about the next FF thing from the Nintendo Direct in 5 minutes. 000

imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 04/06/2026Xenogears deserves praise for trying something new and different at the time, however it utterly fails because the story is a mess and the gameplay breaks down at several parts. Also the religious references are *mostly* just nonsense name drops like Evangelion. FFX handles religion better. 110
imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 03/06/2026Lots of doom and gloom about this one but I thought it looked fun. Yeah it's basically a linear action set piece Uncharted-like, but that's kinda what I want from Wolverine. 010
imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 29/05/2026Yet another thread, this time for UFO 50. Not planning on playing every game to the end, but I will give each one a good 30-60 minute try at the very least. #UFO50 130

imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 07/07/2025I was also able to start AND finish No Case Should Remain Unsolved during my wait at the DMV lol. A Korean mystery visual novel. Emotionally devastating at parts and ends very satisfyingly bitter sweet. 110
imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 07/07/2025I also did my last route in the Dokyusei remake in an attempt to clear out some bishoujo games before I start ToHeart. I did Mai's last because I heard it was the "true" route. Left me kinda disappointed. Not bad, but I did not like it as much as Misa or Satomi's routes. 010

imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 30/06/2025Finally completed the last route of Making Lovers after three years. None of the other 4 routes ever reached the highs of the first, Karen, but I still enjoyed most of my time with them. 000
imjusttoast @imjusttoast.bsky.social · 30/06/2025Finished my first Switch 2 game and my first Rune Factory. It was fun, really loved the village management stuff. Story and combat were serviceable, but both ran out of steam for me for the last 10 hours. I think I spent too much time early on with the village stuff. #RuneFactory 000
