I was meeting someone in a local cafe recently when Stand started playing. I had to stop the conversation because for some reason it’s impossible not to listen

My second REM purchase (after Out Of Time). I have to give it credit as the release that kept me curious as to what delights the rest of the catalogue held.

I’m sure UK dates will follow. Right? Right. (See what I did there?) And yes @jasonnarducy.bsky.social I accept your offer of a collab next time you’re in town 🤗 youtube.com/@imitationof...

Saved up all summer for a hi-fi. Day this came out my parents drove me to Weston-Super-Mare, and I bought the hi-fi, Monster and Definitely Maybe by Oasis. Blasted Circus Envy from my room. 10/10 would blast again.

I thought Shannon did a superb job on Fretless, highlight of the night for me

Shannon and @jasonnarducy.bsky.social absolutely killed it at KOKO this evening. Particular hat tip to Michael’s vocals on Fretless, what a treat

Your brain doesn’t know immediately what the song is, but something lights up and you just know you’re listening to REM. Saw Supergrass in London last year, couldn’t really hear the pre-gig playlist above the hum of the crowd, but my senses went into overdrive and I realised it was 9-9
