Thanks! AI has been used as a development tool, but the game and puzzles are my work. The background of the menu image (behind the scope) is AI-made, it's maybe what you mean by "AI bit"? There's an AI disclosure on the Steam page. I'm working on the human-made soundtrack now. Hope you'll like it!

Here's the new trailer for Oscilloscopia. It's an unusual puzzle game built around an oscilloscope, so I tried to make this one more explicit about how the game works. Feedback and criticism are welcome! Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/5242110/... #IndieGame #PuzzleGame #GameTrailer #Oscilloscope

Couldn't resist plugging an electric guitar into my oscilloscope puzzle game (in development)! 🎸🔊 store.steampowered.com/app/5242110/... #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #gamedev #oscilloscopemusic #electricguitar

Couldn’t resist trying some Beethoven in Sandbox mode in the simulated oscilloscope puzzle game I'm working on.🙃 #Gaming #MadeWithUnity #GenerativeArt #Beethoven #Sandbox

Here's just a quick experiment using audio input in Oscilloscopia’s Sandbox mode. store.steampowered.com/app/5242110/... #indiegame #gamedev #mozart #electronicmusic

Thanks! This clip doesn’t really show the actual gameplay. It’s more of a puzzle game. You have a target, and you build the signal in a modular rack system to match it.

Just playing with moving signals in Oscilloscopia, a puzzle game in development. #ScreenshotSaturday #indiegame #MathArt

Each puzzle has conditions to fulfill, and the number of usable racks, modules and sources is capped. That keeps things tidy. For full freedom, there’s Sandbox mode.

Not really. The top-to-bottom structure keeps things organized without cabling everything. But players can arrange racks and modules as they please, so it can get arbitrarily messy. An important point is that there are many ways to obtain the correct puzzle figure, not one unique configuration.

The rack system is fully modular. As you can see in the trailer, the racks have a vertical logic. Inputs are waveform oscillators and audio. Signals are processed from top to bottom through different modules to be added, multiplied, filtered or shaped. Cable connections are also fully customizable.

A bit of both, depending on what you mean. The scope itself (left part) is obviously simplified. But the signals are really generated and processed through the rack system (right part). Most of the gameplay is really about building the signal. The scope is where you see the target and the result.

Building a puzzle game based on a simulated analog oscilloscope. Definitely a nerd game, but I hope it might interest people around here. Still in development, just starting to talk about it publicly. store.steampowered.com/app/5242110/... #gamedev #indiegame
