Did you design the fonts used by hand? They're excellent.

Yeah, it's actually become a bit of a concern; I might be stuck here. Hm.

You talk about your games like passionate DMs talk about the D&D campaigns that they run for their best, closest friends. I miss that kind of creative relationship.

I hope you print out this and your last post, and literally mail it to Tycho.

By "save game code", does that mean a PC save fr CB1 can be manually imported to a console edition of CB2002?

I'd like to preorder whatever your first game will be, right now. You don't even need to announce it first; I'll just send you the money now. Between Dishonored and Deus Ex, or even the little interactivity of your website, I have zero doubt that I'll want whatever you release.

But you *might have,* so it was hopefully worth checking. Gotta poke at those horizons sometimes.

Same here: I've already played and loved it, but I want to lovingly force it onto everyone I know.

Redownloaded the first game to try and make the wait easier. Except that I know I'll beat it again in way too little time, and then it's going to be SO MUCH WORSE.

You bought the game direct from FPG, not through the Kickstarter? Because if so, you're the one with the business relationship with FPG here. The devs are handling KS pledges, but they can't do anything for outside purchases. FPG took your money and didn't deliver: lay the blame where it's deserved.

The second I can wishlist this on PS, it's mine. (And I'd rebuy the first one on PS, too, given the option.)

Lenna's is remarkably accessible, as far as difficulty goes. It's a pretty simplistic game, but also has some really clever plot stuff, so I'd definitely give it a try!

I'd say that they all have Love for the WoL, but the form of that love (romantic or otherwise) is what's most open to interpretation. And the "otherwise" version is what varies so much from Scion to Scion.

Think so. She moved away from acting to get into other work, and I don't think she perceived her part on TNG to have been "a big enough deal". The Lower Decks stuff must have finally shifted that perspective.

Honestly, I'd have thought weather would be one of the few things that modern AI *could* do right: pattern recognition over a really large amount of data. Kind of impressive to get that wrong.

Is there any chance that the digitization process you used for the analogue track might have introduced the lag? I'm not sure how to easily check, though.

I feel like every region has their "mundane local 'vermin' level wildlife" that anyone NOT from that region finds amazing.

I've been grabbing pictures of squirrels, especially fat ones, ever since a friend visited from another country and found them fascinating. I'd been taking them for granted.

I've gone digging in old computer backups to extract presets and brushes from ancient installs, praying they'll still work.

I had this issue a lot. However, I've since learned I actually had jaw issues (pinched nerves etc.) instead, which a) might explain why the local freezing was so ineffective, since it wasn't targeting the pain area, but also b) that maybe some of that dental work wasn't ACTUALLY required...

Nancy yelling at her own reflection, conveniently sized for Discord stickers, because that's a whole vibe right there.

The "philosophy" behind how you approached OT0 is so healthy that it'll make your name stick in my mind for future reviews. Many reviewers, like the consumers you speak of, approach games like they're trying to "outwit" their themes. You went in wanting to enjoy yourself. I identify more with that.

I'm always fascinated by how much I loved ISAT and have been given reason to believe I'll love Truth Scrapper, but disagree SO HARD with so many of your takes. The universe has so much room for contradiction.

I did a whiskey advent a few years back, with scratch off labels so you could blind taste before learning more. I learned that I really do prefer Canadian whiskey... and that expensive older whiskey really does taste phenomenally better. Stupid expensive tastes.

Fully agreed. Retro is trying some things out here, and I think in reasonable ways: we don't have "open world Metroid" but we do get an open area between zones. We don't have "ally Metroid" but we do have areas where we get allies. This all just reminds me of "Metroid can't be 3D" before Prime 1.

My wife and I watched Lower Decks together. I've been a lifelong Trekkie, while she'd only seen Voyager with me and a few TNG episodes. Since then (her idea), we watched all of DS9, TNG, SNW, some TOS movies, and even Prodigy. We've since REwatched LD, to enjoy getting more references this pass.

So, you're onto SOMETHING in that people react to the sword no longer being there. But you've got to assume less, and explore more. ISAT is a lot more about poking things to see what happens, and discovering things, than it is about knowing what to do (at least until a much later act)

Oh, that's not the Weapon to kill the Boss. It's A weapon, but it's not actually plot important. A Weapon To Kill The Boss is something else you'd find elsewhere. Explore around during loops, follow plot threads. There's more to explore, and don't worry that the King keeps killing you.

I have to say, I'm a bit confused. Just to be clear, are we talking about a specific knife?

Imaria Prime @imaria.bsky.social · 02/11/2025
Beating the boss is a way to progress some things, but it's not the only way to make progress in a loop. Also, it IS possible to get that weapon again. But really, don't over fixate on the boss. The path there has a lot more to discover every loop than just the boss fight provides.

It's a story game wrapped in an RPG style. Explore the various plot threads, more than the obvious RPG goals, and the game will progress in different ways.

God, I love all of Data's "open mechanical part" prosthetics. Sure, they may change randomly, but they were all so COOL. I always loved that head one that they could plug the cord into.
