I’m not the right demographic for it since I’m local. I haven’t found them useful since FP+ was discontinued. But I imagine the ability to pay, scan for photos, and scan for hotel makes things seamless. But at the same time… pulling my phone out for any of that is just as easy.

Eh, interacting with shows has always been a fad they do every few years. Glow with the Show and all its versions, this… Guests don’t know or care about it. You often see them thinking it’s a malfunction if they notice.

It’s so, so funny to see Magic Band die out. Having lived through the early days of My Magic Plus and seen how they changed the parks to accommodate the bands, it wild to see it slowly fade away.

Maybe not close 6 guest areas all at once, and space them out instead? Maybe do half the lobby at a time and close it all off to work during off hours only (I know it’s a small lobby, but there has to be some way to take it in chunks). Idk. Just seems excessive and I feel bad for those staying.

This is a blessing and a curse though. Pro: cool rides we want ride Con: they’re less inclined than ever to invest in A, B, and C tickets and slow experiences.

Previously attractions had to prove they could make money though gift shop sales before they’d be approved. Now, the ride itself has to be big enough to move people to buy a LLSP. Obviously merch sales still weigh in, but we’re getting more exciting rides with bigger draws.

I always design my company’s booth at our biggest expo. This year I hid a photo of me and Mari in it since it was meant to look like a living room.
