the piece focuses on vash's horrified/saddened face as he screams at his brother, with tears hitting the lenses of his glasses and flying out from the edges. the left lens is cracked into 3 distinct pieces, each showing knives' reflection across 3 different points in time: his present skeletal state for the right eye, his adult cloaked form for the left eye, and his child self grinning for the bottom half of his face. part of vash's black wing can be seen behind him on the right side.
