looks like the isak one isn't serious, potter confirmed this. not sure about gakpo. if isak is fit then wingers is an area we're well stocked in but hopefully neither are too bad. one good point of the extended break i suppose is another fortnight before we play. lot of time for them to recover.

about the defence i agree. about flo, not so much. no one wants him to do badly, we are all desperate for him to play well but he was horrendous on sunday. simple fact is, he needs to do better. fingers crossed that he does 🙏🏻

honest to god. the man is just unreal. i have no interest whatsoever in international football, watched about 2 hours max of the world cup in total but will be avidly looking forward to seeing how germany get on. and hoping to support them v england at some point 👍🏻

to see increased effort from the players and to see the start of something that we can get behind. can fault results and aspects of performances but i am happy that my two expectations are being met so far. if we do these things, league tables/cup competitions sort themselves out.

i know what u mean but think over the course of last season in general, the draws v newcastle, forest and today would have been two defeats and a draw. don't let how drab today was cloud judgements about last season, that game was one we watched about 30 times last season.

have any of them in a heartbeat-long trent discussion after the forest game. if ur talking current squad, i'd go nicol. absolutely superb, best at right back but could be brilliant at left back, an option right midfield and centre back too. with the current holes in the squad, he'd be perfect.

but he was very good in slot's championship season too don't forget so i think the main thing is having competition to push him. form and manager styles are a factor too but he just isn't good enough to be first or second choice winger, if he's your third or fourth then you're flying.

endo did because we needed a dm at the time and we missed out of lavia and caicedo so we knew he'd be a stopgap. first season, with jürgen he was fine, solid and dependable but really underused by slot and then the injury. been a decent servant. chiesa's best part has been his song and attitude.
