3. Who is the main character? Isis is the primary main character but Rahab is the secondary main character (or deuteragonist) Isis is caring, cunning, brave and has a strong sense of justice. Rahab is sullen, brooding, but is slowly showing he has the ability to care about others.

Just in case anyone wanted to see what recent Ilworld pages look like in page format vs Webtoon (although I will say I have made the page composition very basic recently to make for easier translation to vertical scroll) That and lately my brain has been mush...

It's #WIPWednesday what are you guys working on? I'm back at it working on updating my old pages for the print of vol 2. I'm trying to keep the updates to a minimum. Making minor changes to faces and colors.

Ilworld page 109. Rahab is leaving and says if they cross paths again, maybe the main character will have remembered her name.

I really liked this panel in the latest Ilworld update, maybe just because I like making my characters uncomfortable.

I'll be teaching a couple of panels at Anime Oklahoma this Saturday. I won't have a table in artist alley. I'm just doing some panels and checking out the convention. Hopefully I'll see some friends there.

Okay I think I'm pretty happy with the tags I chose. I still think they should have monsters though. Also, I feel like the term "isekai" has been tainted and I kind of wish there was a "dark isekai" 🤣

Ilworld tags horror, thriller, survival, fantasy, isekai, found family, anti-hero, strategic female lead, cold male lead, mythology, mythical creatures

So #Webtooncanvas is finally implementing tags. It looks like they might not be on every comic yet. This is how you can find them. I'm going to look through these and see what tags. I wish they had a monster tag. Dark fantasy and dark romance might be nice to add at some point too.

Tags will be available for some canvas comics

You will notice the system has generated 15 tags for you. You can change them.

Oooo so these are spoilers that haven't been revealed and only hinted at in Ilworld. What we know so far is something is strange about Rahab's body and Skuld does not like questions about her appearance. Skuld wears a mask and we can see her wings are damaged. Rahab is hiding his body under belts.

When Isis was removing Rahab's belts, she noticed a lot of the body that should be there, isn't.

Skuld says don't ask me about my appearance.

The newest Ilworld update is now up on Webtoon canvas. Will Isis get to enjoy a moment of peace? Will she get food she can stand to eat? (Not like Nabu's soup) And how will her scheme of getting info out of Skuld go? Find out. www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/il...

A really hard choice. I also told myself I couldn't choose two from any artist. A lot of these were albums I wore out in the early 2000's. NIN The Downward Spiral remains the soundtrack of the deepest darkest parts of my soul.

Haha I can understand that. It does look like there are a lot of details on the jacket. Rahab's long jacket / trench coat is still kind of annoying even though the details are fairly basic. He has too many belts though. 🤣

Okay, this is one of the coolest things that has happened to me at a comic show. I had someone come to see me dressed as a character from my comic, and it wasn't even one of the human characters. They were dressed as Iacchus, one of the monster characters in my comic. My face hurt from smiling 💜

More page updates. I'm still working on updating old pages for the print of vol 2. As you can see the updates to pages 99 and 100 are mostly colors. I also redrew Isis is the last panel. I think these colors capture the mood better and will look better printed (hopefully. Printers hate purple)

Nabu is just working with what he has though. I also think it's kind of funny that Iacchus likes the soup fine. Isis is disgusted by it. Rahab as well. Then Isis and Rahab get to bond over how terrible the soup is.

Oooo we have seen soup a couple of times in Ilworld. The first time was in a nightmare. Isis really did not like that soup (if you know, you know) The second time, they got to Nabu and Rahab's home and Nabu serves them soup. We learn Nabu might not be the best cook...

I'm over here hoping I don't get in trouble on Webtoon because Skuld shows a little cleavage. Then again I think they have AI patrolling for violations currently and it probably isn't looking for purple cleavage since most comics on Webtoon have only human characters. 🤣

I know some readers will need a refresher on this and I plan to post one on Webtoon too. While Rahab was unconscious, Isis took his stuff including money. She has reasons for doing this of course but to Rahab, it might seem like she just stole his stuff and decided to do other things to him...

Rahab is unconscious. Isis asks "can you hear me?"

Isis is removing Rahab's jacket while he's unconscious.

Isis discovers Rahab has hidden pockets in his jacket and checks them.

Isis takes Rahab's money and puts it in her bag. It becomes plot relevant later.

Poor Isis. Lost in a world that doesn't make sense. She can't even read the written language there. Luckily everyone speaks English (it would be really hard to have a story where the characters can't communicate with speech or text) 💀
