Alright so maybe it's not really rest like a sleeping and lying around type of rest, but I feel nourished and restful these past three months. I'm mostly happy. Mostly enjoying my life (as much as I could with the corrupt government lmao) with learning on the side (I can cook!)

In this resting period I also spent lots of time and energy learning to take care of plants, watching my cat gave birth to itty-bitty kitten, and learning how to cook. I have also been writing several essays and starting a habit of writing a blog. Taking back the web and all. Fuck algorithm etc etc

Also recently I found joy in coloring digital watercolors again, which is super great. I have been in a prolonged burnout for almost a year. The burnout did not result in "bad art" per se, but it decreased my joy in creating. I have found it again though, after the store closure. Hurrah!

I have been drawing only digitally for years now. Yesterday I finally went back to painting traditionally (learning gouache!) and hell it gave me a massive headache because I had been concentrating so much for almost 6 hours 😵‍💫
