I remember when Lindsey Graham worked with McCain, Biden & defended democratic norms. He worked across the aisle on immigration/judicial norms. However, he made a deliberate decision to abandon the principles he once had and embrace cruelty. Which is why I won’t mourn his passing.

I just can’t anymore with my local NY GOP. They didn’t read a law that passed with bipartisan support. Now they claim NYS is changing mom and dad to something else. Meanwhile, the statute only applies in family court in cases of adoption, surrogacy, same sex couples and IVF.

There was a time in my life when I was a single mom w/a deadbeat ex. I was in the store counting my $ to see if I had enough to buy what my infant needed. A stranger dropped a $20 bill on the floor picked it up and said, you dropped this. When I said no, I didn’t, she winked & said pay it forward.

If you live in a Red state, the most effective way to make your vote count is to register as a Republican and support the Democratic candidate you actually want in the general election. If every Dem does that, it becomes a lot harder for anyone to rely on gerrymandering or safe seat assumptions.

Leaving from West Palm Beach. Jet Blue announced the airport will be closed. Not for weather reasons or ground holds but because the Machurian cantaloupe is flying in. I have left from other airports when HW and George Bush, Bill Clinton, Gerald Ford flew in. They didn’t close airports for them.

@JetBlue I’m well aware my October flight changed by three hours, but I don’t need a daily barrage of emails and almost hourly robo calls like I’m being hunted by my own itinerary; it’s April, I have a dozen flights before then. Amazon, which saved $4B in taxes under Trump's Big Ugly Bill, has cut 30,000 jobs since last October. Verizon, which saved $2B, plans to cut 15,000 jobs this year. Meta, which saved $3B, plans to lay off 20% or more of its workforce. Trickle-down economics is a cruel joke.
