Before sunrise Started the day on a tripod, moved the morning into a cafe where I photographed a willing couple's chess match, and made one good connection in the parking lot. My idea of a fruitful Sunday. 😜📷

Usually I leave the beach once the sun's up too high. Before leaving though, I noticed this 1st birthday photo session happening. Baby is inside the cute teepee. I exposed for shadows to show faces, letting the background blowout. #photography #beach #streetphotography #family #photosession

Got to the beach extra early to try some tripod assisted shots, something I haven't done in decades. Of course I forgot a shutter release, so just held down the release button while on the "bulb" setting. Nikon Zf 40mm at f8 25 seconds #minimalist #photography #ocean #pre-sunrise #long-exposure
