Favourite time of year for games is coming. I absolutely LOVE Halloween events and Pokemon Pokopia looks so good 😊🎃

I rebought Pokemon Scarlet and uh… I forgot it doesn’t support cloud saves. I’m on Switch 2 now and no longer have my Switch 1. RIP to my 100+ hours and all my Pokemon 🥲

Also was given this little guy. I’m so ready for spooky season after this endless summer

Played some Zelda Windwaker earlier and watching some Pokemon XY anime over an early lunch - ideal Saturday vibes.

Absolutely love NVC and I’m incredibly sad to hear this. What a shame for us, the audience but most importantly - him. Nintendo are having such a time right now and being unable to chat about it with your team just sucks.

Seth and Brian have been absolutely pivotal for IGN, what an absolutely infuriating decision. I wish them both well and hope that I can continue listening/watching where they next land. There is never a good time for a layoff, but just before a barrage of big titles seems ludicrous.

They fail so see that getting rid of the legitimate long standing talent loses eyes and ears. I won’t be tuning into podcasts/videos and will follow these people where they go. IGN making terrible decisions

IGN removing their insanely talented team bit by bit, while you still can’t use their website due to the absolutely obnoxious adverts is a choice.

Started a little unknown game this morning on Nintendo Switch Online. Zelda Windwaker

iLorah @ilorah.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I was super pumped for a Yo-Kai game in the Nintendo Direct until I heard all the news.

Sunday Morning and I’m playing Motorstorm Apocalypse on the PS3. Realised I’ve redeemed a stack load of PS3 PS Plus games over the years without even thinking about it

If you’re after Elden Ring for Switch 2 - ShopTo are running 5% off again with the code ‘PLAYTIME’ www.shopto.net/en/sw2el00-e...

iLorah @ilorah.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Respectfully, how they have the audacity to charge £60ish for this on Switch I have no idea. This looks closer to a 360 game. That’ll be a thanks but no thanks. The console runs some things really well but this game is not one of them!

iLorah @ilorah.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Booting up MW4 on Switch 2 just to compare it to how it played last week on PS5 - not really expecting the best but we shall see! Can’t believe it’s been since the Wii U era

iLorah @ilorah.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

It’s been years, but seeing GTA VI felt like what a new console generation used to feel like. That game looks absolutely unfathomable. I thought the game would look good but.. that was incredible.

Transit 123 might be the worst map I’ve ever played. I am yet to have a decent match on it.. the spawns are absolutely awful

I hope everyone has a safe Gamescom and I look forward to watching it from home but… thank god I’m not going 😂

Rocker by name but maybe not by nature 😅

iLorah @ilorah.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Thank you! I was literally googling it earlier hahaha

iLorah @ilorah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

They’d have to do less pieces and make it more minimal like the other consoles for the price per brick situation. It’s just not going to sell well at this price

200

iLorah @ilorah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

What is with this pricing and the 360 one? They’d be better off partnering with Lego and charging a reasonable price. What is with Xbox these days? Rake after damn rake.

Don’t worry if you missed the eclipse.. every time I blink I can still see it so I can just describe it for you for the next 40 years 😂
