Dear Senator -

The so-called Department of Government Efficiency's unauthorized and illegal takeover of the Bureau of Fiscal Service at the US Department of Treasury is the greatest threat to the security of the US since at least the Cuban Missile Crisis. I fear that the full faith and credit of the US government has already been impugned and much other damage has already been done, but it can get so much worse. I therefore implore you to do everything in your power to reign in Musk and his unelected henchmen, but also to communicate to the American public the gravity of the situation through both words and actions. Go to Treasury. Demand answers. Stonewall nominations. The survival of our economy and democracy hangs in the balance. Rise to the moment. We are counting on you.

My wife and I are coffee nerds, and three of the top four cups of coffee I've ever had were in Tokyo this week. Only Prolog in CPH is in the same league. Tokyo is insanely great for so many reasons, but one of them surely is the next level at which they're sourcing, roasting, and brewing beans.

If I may: the figures aren't contradictory. Logan's data show national % and Donna's show an absolute # in Atlanta, where the highest share of institutional investor-owned SFH are concentrated (25% of rentals), which may affect price, but it's inconclusive, per the GAO. www.gao.gov/products/gao...
