Growing up in the 50s and 60s, the father worked, mom stayed at home. We didn't need food stamps or Medicare. We paid rent or were able to buy a modest house. We lived in a working class neighborhood. Not today. All wealth is accumulated at the top, no "trickle down".

One issue in health care is the shortage of medical staffing. We need to invest in health care by educating more doctors, nurses, and PAs. Once graduated they have a commitment of working in community health clinics for a period of time. Another issue is the cost of malpractice insurance.
