yes, I have been breaking bank getting Leughtturm notepads cause they have pockets and pen loops. The first time I used a notepad with a pen loop was life changing. They should all have pen loops

Ugh, I wish I could do digital, that’s really convenient. I’m so addicted to the LePen on paper feel I have to carry 2-3 notepads with me at all times.

Noticing that every person that I know who achieved career success has a habit of taking handwritten notes.

Fuuuuuck, This makes me want to play Darkest Dungeon on a CRT TV. And Elden Ring. And Fear and Hunger. And Persona.

original drawing by @aromiekim.bsky.social I think I love them so much because they remind me of Fear and Hunger monster designs

private funeral #sketch Based on @aromiekim.bsky.social's forest demon designs.

I like to imagine that they are not demons, but ancient forest fae who mourn woodland creatures that perish on highway roads, succumb to starvation, cold or hunting traps.

A sketch of four forest fae, mourning a fallen forest critter. A horned hag with branches for hands is putting two uprooted dandelions on it's famished body. A little fuzzy imp with goat eyes is hugging hag's foot and looks upon the dead animal in dismay. A plump pig demon hides behind the other leg. A chicken-fish hybrid with an incomprehensible amount of feet stands atop the piglet. A human faced horned horse lies behind all the others.

I think this gang of forest demons is one of my favorite creature designs you’ve done

I love the Persona drawing. How the background is a single color shade that gains perspective through the grass pattern. And that it has game UI in it. Also: gay. Very cool.

Jacqueline Ess lives in my mind rent free. And that one story about human city mechs. And that one story about hands rebelling against humans.

Genuienly one of my last remaining icons, after all the stuff about Neil Gaiman has come out. Barker’s Books of Blood are amazing, and Abarrat is strange but really charming, it stuck with me
