yeah but thats for Loomian Legacy, not Pokemon Brick Bronze. It's also not very fandom centered. And yeah the people there aren't the coolest...

the PBB fandom is kinda scattered across platforms rn, so would y'all be interested in a discord server to gather everyone together?

REAL it's so freeing 🕊️ I remember when I first cut my hair short, I had suddenly realized why it's symbolic of positive change in media, like I wanted to frolic.

gonna round this off with some inspirations when it came to their designs and personalities Coleus: Stu Macher (Scream), Evan/Habit (Everyman Hybrid), Scourge the Hedgehog, & Amethyst (SU) Cantor: Ash Ketchum, Vi (Arcane), Sonic, & Steven Universe (main series and future) thanks for reading :3

041

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

it's supposed to be more practical to showcase how serious they are nowadays, she's fully locked in for demons tomb. As for resemblance... I gotta fix that. They have the same body type, face shape, and mostly similar facial features, but I fear they may look a bit too different : (

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

There is a middle design (that I gotta draw 🫩) where they had long hair that looked a lot closer to Coleus's current style. At some point she cut it shorter for an emotional beat. It gets tied up, and her bandana moves up to cover her hair in a protective style.

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

For their older design there's a lot more black, and i changed her circles to triangles to give her some edge. I gave them a bulkier look with wide legged pants and big puffy sleeves to look stronger and steadier, and her hair is really important here-

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

I tried to make use of rounder shapes, but also lots of squares. he's always been very tough, reliable, protective, and stubborn, so yeah squares (also brick. square. rectangle. brick like.) his clothes are also very open and loose, to show that they his open and fun-oriented during this time.

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

Funnily enough, Cantor hasn't changed too much from his original besides like, a haircut for their younger self ToT Some stuff about his design though- for her younger design, there's a lot of light colors. White, light blue, candy red, and electric yellow to show a sort of fun and whimsy

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

Onto Cantor- at a certain point I had realized that Coleus had changed so much, that the original design could be a completely different character. and I still didnt have a design for their PBB counterpart. so I went back and re-vamped the original to get my first rendition of Cantor

151

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

Coleus has a need for the spotlight, to stand out, they seek outwards validation a lot, and fame gets to their head really quick. Them glowing is almost like a call for attention.

141

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

It's to show they're kind of naive, and incredibly reckless and arrogant. They don't think they can lose cus they haven't lost yet, so why would they need to prepare to struggle? it's one of their biggest flaws. Glowing in the dark is also somewhat in reference to their.. how do i say- ego???

141

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

their clothes are also very impractical for their occupation, and thats on purpose. Big baggy pants will catch on grass, get in the way, and trip them if they try to run, their clothes literally glow in the dark so theres now way for them to sneak or hide effectively

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

I leaned on wavy and outward shapes, to show a sort of wild and unpredictable nature, but with a muted color palette and loose clothes to show they're also chill and laidback. i put a lot of volume in their hair and clothes to give them a bigger silhouette, so they look just a little 🤏threatening.

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

Originally I was gonna lean into green and purple or their color pallet, but then I went to go look at the LL wiki and I found that the ghost type color icon is actually white!! So then I zeroed in on that and gave them more white.

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

Now to the present!! so Coleus got revamped, and a lot changed. The hair and eye color is a funny story, cus in an older edition of their lore, they were Dr. Vantas nephew, which is why their hair has green roots / stripes (they are bad at dying their hair..) and their eyes are purple.

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

But over time, I didn't identify with them anymore and turned them into an OC. then they went through like a million different design changes, and even a point in time where they stopped being a LL OC for a while.

131

Illiad / Toaster @illiadvonbun.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

For my Player Designs, they actually started out as a single organism. It was a self insert I had made for Loomian Legacy in 2020?? i think?? But there was NO THOUGHT put into this ToT
