here's my response on the forum itself, since I know that is a major complaint.

I do want to be upfront and say I do not believe the moderation team is going out of their way to target specific people they do not like. The problem is the way that XIV platforms have historically been used to target marginalized people. XMA has earned a reputation due to people using reports to personally attack creators, as the reports go directly into their inbox. The reports vary in transphobia, racism, etc. It has been such a problem, that even though Heliosphere does not allow user reports in the same way, the owner still directly receives the hateful reports. The difference between them is: Heliosphere throws them directly into the bin. I am not saying to throw every user report away, but I do think you should take into consideration /who/ is being reported and /why./ There has been self-admitted over-strictness with the rules. If other sites are having issue with people abusing the report system to attack those they dislike, what is stopping it here?

Another particular issue I have is what is chosen to have moderation action. Again, I do not have issue with Garlean RP groups as a whole and whatnot. That is not my issue. Yet there was so much leeway with the icon that was clearly meant to invoke fascist imagery, which you could discern from context clues surrounding the group, and far too much strictness with others things (see: the thigh slit incident).

Keep in mind, your timeline is messed up. The mass reports came before the outcry on bluesky, and in fact were the catalyst for the whole event. Dev didn't even freak out about the situation /until/ the implied nudity with the basket. The moderator wasn't even fucking correct, it was a thigh.

But I ask you this; when a white person has a non-white oc and that character experiences targeting because of their combined traits. In this case the oversexualization of brown/black curvy bodies, because lets be frank you can not tell me these image weren't oversexualized by the moderation team.

The thing is; Dev is not trying to skirt around the rules of RP hub. Dev was posting about wanting to post the top on Bluesky, because if you read any of the conversations with the admin you'd know that Dev deleted their RPhub account. Second off, the rule that Dev "broke" was removed.
