What a lovely 3 days at #GSA which was conveniently hosted at The University of Queensland this year! Feeling super inspired and keen to dig back into data after so many incredible talks that gave me a fresh perspective and plenty of ideas. 🧬 🌱 🐮 🪸 💉

📣 Hot off the press at #ProcB! 🔍 Our study checked data/code-sharing policies in 275 eco/evo journals and compliance in Proc B (n=2,340) & Ecology Letters (n=571). Policies exist, but clarity and strictness vary, affecting reproducibility. 🔗 doi.org/10.1098/rspb...

A huge lab effort! Using reproducible criteria we found that 68% of #coral studies had cryptic taxa and that (when tested) these species have permeable species boundaries (i.e., #hybridisation). We describe the implications of cryptic taxa and hybridisation for #conservation #restoration in detail!
