guirey's character told me her paws keep squishing her roommates so i asked how many roommates she's had and she said she just goes to the craigslist and gets a new roommate afterwards so i said it sounds like she's just feeding roommates to her paws and then her roommate started crying.

The only thing that keeps me from being nerfed in the balance patches every time I take out more adventurers than I can count with a single step is my ability to flirt and also be REALLY whiny.

Gale, towering over a number of specks representing would-be adventurers. very minor stompgame note: i wrote up a decently in-depth how-to for making a custom character! it covers some of the basic concepts and more importantly gets into a lot of the less-obvious quirks of the game. it's now in the ZIP file example on the custom page & free on patreon

any image editing software should work well enough, but aseprite is what i use! any sort of more 'pixel-art' focused program might serve better towards matching the general aesthetic of the provided UI and whatnot

this is amazing, looks fantastic! i was thinking that 3d could work really well for this exact purpose, but lacking the knowhow had no way of seeing it realized. the limited color palettization seems to have worked very well to make it fit in stylistically -- thanks for sharing ❤️

generally, cruelty to ants is the TRUE name of the game here! the longer you keep em on screen, the more points they're worth. if you're playing konna, that may be contributing to your struggles; she takes a little over TWICE as much to please as mikka, but benefits even more from paw-on-ant sadism
