I was up in Sacramento during that month plus long heatwave.i expected to be way hotter than my husband at home but he got more heat plus the humidity. Did not expect to be happy with the weather in Sac in August.

Most people i know who get branded as establishment want the same things progressives do, they just have more realisric views of how to get things done. It wouɔd be great if we could snap our fingers and get the things we want but the whole point of progress is that it takes time and effort.

I mean Kamala Harris had a way more progressive voting record than Bernie Sanders. I feel like establishment is doing a lot of work here. I live in Long Beach and don't have a say in the LA mayoral election, but branding people as "establishment" doesn't sit well with me.

The rich part of my town is flooding and we're about to go into another 2 weeks of heatwave without really having had a break. I was in your neighborhood during late July-late August and it was hotter in Socal than there! My poor husband has been melting for about 2 months straight.

There's a Costco near where my parents live. It's relatively new, but been there for years, and it NEVER has a line for gas. I think once I had to wait like 10 seconds for a pump to open up but that was the longest I ever waited there. It's magical.

When my 4 year old nephew died, everyone came with all the religious stuff, god had a plan, he's in a better place, etc. The one thing that someone said to me that made me feel any better was my now husband who said that he only ever knew love and never found out about bad or mean people.
