PATH OF RADIANCE‼️

Actually, he was a producer on the project! I wonder how much influence he had on the creative decisions, and how much his answer was a reflection of his own creative philosophy vs that of the larger dev team. 🤔

Directing the reader's attention to the text rather than "the canon" was an apt choice for this paper. Thumbs up from me!! I wish I had more time to go beyond the Intro but sadly I'm super busy & bsky is killing my wordcount here, but knowing Inigo I can already say you found quite the egg here! 🌈

But when it comes to the fundamental truths of these characters, there a bit more to grasp onto. There was no obligation for the writer to add subtext to some of these characters. It isn't present everywhere, and subtext varies from unit to unit, but these were intentional choices made by the writer

ikeþyrnir @ikethyrnir.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Going even further, for Awakening/Fates especially, every character's romantic preferences were trivialized by the writing in order to suit the needs of the gameplay mechanics. It truly makes no sense for girls like Peri/Nowi to be seen as more desirable than Flora/Say'ri but the gameplay demands it

Off to a great start with this one by how you tackled the idea of "canon" in FE, its blurry! Many mutually exclusive endings happen across the series, including Caeda dying in SD, and yet fans popularly default to the happiest endings to be "canon" while anything less than is labelled a "bad" ending

Have you seen @garfieldkermit.bsky.social's new video? Following up from his viral hit video on the sexualization of male characters, GK unravels the history behind why "gamers" believe games are "for men", and does a great job showing why that is FAR from the truth 📈 www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyPY...

I've been toiling away on my current video project for the last 3 months and I literally already started editing it and everything, but after today I'm afraid I might implode if I don't channel my hype for Fortune's Weave into a video... aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

Lmao I wanna agree because in any other case someone who is against gay men conceptually usually puts being gay in opposition of masculinity. But its true that gay men tend to favor masculine aesthetics on men and that gaymers gravitate towards these types of characters more strongly than women do 🤔

So the new Love and Deepspace romantic interest Valko got completely cancelled before he was even released because the game's most unhinged fans complained that he looks "too western, too buff, and TOO GAY"???? 😵 This guy is officially my new favorite character. 🤠🌈👬 #gay #gaymer #bara
