A very good rule of thumb is “never join a boycott until you can answer the question of who’s organizing it and what their goals are.” Whether it’s making sure company-specific boycotts are actually backed by the union or something like this, always know whose water you’re carrying.

I think a lot of people got whiplash going from the most mature the show had ever been under Moffat to being aimed squarely at tweens. Chibnall who was a very, very different show than Moffat who and even RTD1. much more aligned with classic series

Oh I hated it. It was moffat's anniversary present to us and chibnall broke it for no reason and in the most hamfisted way possible. I'm pro chibnall in general but that pissed me off. And the editing, that's the one thing I'll never forgive him for
