My figurines couldn't follow me in the move (no worries they're just in boxes at the new-new house still in construction) but at least I got a cool standee of the boyfriends at a con today, courtesy of @fawkesartt.bsky.social ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Photo of a standee featuring Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog standing back to back while wearing cool outfits.

Honestly, if any of y'all have scoliosis and/or lower back pain, I HIGHLY recommend getting a lumbar pillow like this. This is heaven on the spine. Especially get one with straps so you can attach it to your ideal height.

Rate my setup (we've started dismantling the beds so I'm sleeping on the floor bachelor style)

Photo of a bedroom where the mattress is right onto the floor with dismantled parts of the bed frame leaning against the nightstand nearby. On the mattress are two blankets on which an orange cat is lying, two pillows, and two plushies. Atop the bed is a mosquito net, because fuck those little blood-sucking bastards.

I currently have one mint and three cacti. I make tea with the mint, but my cacti are fully for my happiness. I love my spiky sons. :3 (Oldish pics because they're currently in my sis' room. Will take new pics once we're in the old house.)

Looking back to the character designs I did in 2022 and thinking "man, what the fuck was I eating to make all those bangers in quick succession". I need to go back to re/designing characters, it's so fun. 💃 #amki_art #oc

An androgynous boy with long white hair, pitch black eyes, and light skin. He wears a white outfit with white bandages along his wrists and ankles, and blankly looks at the viewer while manipulating dark energy.

An Oni person with long, silver hair, silver eyes, brown skin, and two black horns. They wear a light green, short but ornate outfit that is vaguely reminiscent of a kimono, with the coat hanging down their shoulders and exposing most of their chest.

A blonde girl with blue eyes and light skin, whose very long hair (tied in a huge, red and lime bow) ends in pointed, green and blue tentacles. She wears a modern outfit in pinks, limes, and blacks, with a short skirt and a short top exposing her belly. Although she poses delicately, she has an unnerving smile on her face and no light in her eyes.

A rabbit-person with short, fluffy white hair, red eyes, brown skin, and a flowy romper that exposes their chest (which has a crescent moon tattoed on) and that is covered by a black and white kimono with all the phases of the moon depicted on the bottom of it.

started doing a character sheet for my Immortals AU shadow a while back but never finished it so here the key points are that he's taller, fluffier, and it's not pictured here but he's definitely got some eldritch stuff going on #amki_art

Sonic the Hedgehog fanart showing two versions of Shadow the Hedgehog. One is his regular self (in my style), while the other is taller, fluffier, has a very long tail, and a third eye.

Surprise! My Sonadow Exchange (@sonadowexch.bsky.social) gift (and first published Sonic fic overall) is about weird Zombot sex! Yay! Thanks for having me, I hope to bring more weird smut into this fandom in the future. 🙇‍♂️ archiveofourown.org/works/87112841 #nsfw #shadonic

Explicit-rated fanfic called "Metalworking".
Summary: ["In hindsight, it really only had been a matter of time before things would inevitably go from bad to worse. One: they had no working cure. And two…

Patient zero was none other than the Blue Blur himself."

Sonic succumbs to the metal virus, leaving an immune Shadow to restrain him while the Resistance works on a cure.

They, of course, fuck nasty about it.]

One of my pettiest (and honestly most harmless) pet peeves in Sonic fanfiction is when authors describe Shadow's speed trail as red or black. Understandable because of his fur, but his trail very much is yellow because of his shoes and has been that way since his introduction.

Screenshot of Shadow jumping in Sonic Adventure 2. The trail that appears when he jumps is yellow.

His smug expression makes me want to ************** (violent)(affectionate)(pop him like a balloon)(with love)(throw him like a bowling ball)(cuteness aggresion)(but also regular aggression)

Cropped version of the Sonic Channel artwork featuring Sonic with glasses and a birthday chili dog. He has a particularly smug expression.

Little heatwave things : I've already drank twice what I usually do in a day and still peed less than usual, I have cat hair permanently glued to my skin, I am running on four hours of sleep, and my brain is mush. But on the plus side, Hubert is blooming!

Photo of a cactus in a pot, three bright pink flowers having bloomed at its top, with multiple buds still growing nearby them.

I like the idea of Classic Sonic having the worst resting bitch face in existence #SonicTheHedgehog #amki_art

Doodle of Sonic the Hedgehog and his Classic counterpart standing next to each other. Modern Sonic is politely asking for two chili dogs with a bright smile and relaxed posture. Next to him, Classic Sonic is glaring silently, radiating hostility with his stern expression and crossed arms, though the text on the side reveals he's actually happy to be there.

Random headcanon : the reason Vanilla the Rabbit is so tall is not because she's older, but rather because she's a Flemish Giant, a particularly large breed of bnnuy. :3 This would mean Cream could potentially grow just as tall, which is delightful to think about.

Official artwork of Vanilla the Rabbit. She is noticeably taller than the average Mobian.

Photo of a person holding a Flemish Giant in their arms. The rabbit is almost as large as their entire torso, and needs to be held with both arms.

Everyone gets a baby!!! Shadow even gets two but he doesn't know that yet... My only (late) sfw contribution to preg Sonic week...waow #shadonic #blazonic #knuxonic #sonamy #PregSonicWk26 #amki_art

Sonic the Hedgehog sketch fanart showing Sonic surrounded by Shadow, Blaze, Knuckles, and Amy. Sonic just gave birth and is holding a baby, and the others are each also holding a baby each. Shadow looks proud, Blaze looks fond, Knuckles is on the verge of tears, and Amy is gently playing with the baby she's holding. Sonic is staring at the baby in his arms with a blank smile, thinking "Is that fucking Silver?"

Horny enough to keep asking for knottings, far enough along to be producing milk...Shadow really has his paws full, doesn't he. 😋 #shadonic #shasoni #PregSonicNSFWWk26 #amki_art #nsfw

Sonic the Hedgehog fanart showing Sonic leglocking Shadow, who is heavily implied to be knotting him. Sonic has a smug grin as he grips his own breast, making milk trickle down his chest. He says "C'mon, we're locked anyway, have a taste." Meanwhile, Shadow seems to be having a horny crisis, eyes wide and expression both dark yet obviously aroused, his internal thoughts just saying a bewildered "holy shit".

I hold the pen, I have all the power to come up with my own designs for canon characters if I so please. And yes of course I gave Sonic birthing hips, who do you take me for #shadonic #amki_art

My customized designs for Sonic and Shadow. They're both noticeably fluffier. Sonic has messy quills and fur and a curvy body shape, he wears black sports tape under his shoes and gloves, and his shoes are a bit more detailed than his official design. Shadow has fluffy, more elegant fur and quills, and his shoes + gloves are a mix of different official designs, with a special note that his gloves are padded to accomodate his longer claws..

Sonic & Shadow without their gloves & shoes, showing more clearly their fur patterns and paw pads. There is a note that Sonic is 100cm, Shadow is 99cm, and Shadow's tail is longer and a bit feathery.
