My favorite part of the entire dev process is players finding exploits that completely break the game. 1, they are hilarious 9 times out of 10, and 2, it helps fix huge weaknesses in my design.

Tomorrow is the last day of school!!! More game updates will flood throughout the summer. I’ve had lots of time to theory craft some boss ideas for the further out factions and how the checkpoint system will work and be balanced. Looking to host the first long game (6-8hr) play test this summer!

While I don’t have anything new for Iron Jungle, I have been working with my 8th graders in tinkercad. They had to design a minifig and create a lore for their character. I’ve had a lot of issues with this as I am also a very vivid dreamer. Something that’s helped me is repeating positive mantras before going to sleep to try and help my subconscious think of good things. Has actually made a difference. “ you are happy, you are healthy, you are driven, you are enough”
