Ink drawing of a lobster girl standing up straight and looking at you. She's angry.

Full-color digital illustration of a woman with antennae and lobster hands walking barefoot through a huge square door and into a flooded room inside the ruins of a mysterious place.

Digital painting. A woman with pigtails and glasses sits behind a stone barrier for just a second to reload her pistol.

Digitally colorized pencil sketch of two women - one with pigtails and glasses, and one with lobster claws and antennae, lightly holding hands in a celebratory sort of way in a lightly cluttered room.

Happy LGBTQIA+ Pride Month from Azure Claw Comics! And by that, I mean from me, an asexual genderqueer cartoonist who's created a comic with no confirmed straight people in it as of this time!

A digital illustration of Azure Claw Comics's Azzura Silverstar is depicted in front of a photo of a real Progress Pride Flag. To the right are the words "Happy Pride Month", and below that, a signature reading "Dave V.".

Here's a classic drawing I did for @goawayimcrabby.bsky.social, inspired by the way she draws herself. Or at least, how she did when she gave herself longer hair. Sam is doing great at posting and building a community out there, and she's doing great as the boss of Cheekynauts Entertainment!

Quick pencil sketch of a woman (Crabby Sam) wearing a fancy suit jacket and folding her hands authoritatively behind a name plate that simply reads, "Da Boss!!"

Here's an old piece from when I used to do traditional painting! I've filed it under the robot section of the Azureverse. But is that really the best place for it? I'm not sure. I just think robots are neat!

Small traditional painting in yellow and purple, depicting a little golden robot slumped over in an alleyway, with smoke rising from the open door to its broken heart.

Here's another classic Azure Claw Comics art of Azzura Silverstar, seen here having a lovely day at the beach after setting a Sovereign watchtower on fire. This one has a lot of empty space so I can use it as an Azure Claw key art. But other than the Facebook page, I haven't done that much with it.

Digitally colored illustration of a lobster girl with blue hair and blue claws standing in front of the ocean on a cloudy day as waves roll in. Behind her, there is an evil tower that glows with an evil light, but it's also on fire.

Oh no! It looks like the robots are fighting again! This time Three is fighting her younger sister, Four, a human-sized robot made of a collection of nanomachines that can reassemble themselves into practically anything!

Pencil drawing of a robot woman punching a more high-tech robot woman who has turned her fist into a solid block made of nanomachines.

At one point, Azure Claw Comics could have included space noir -- gritty crime drama, but in space! In this concept sketch, Special Agent Claire Lopez is on the trail of a space murderer! But she's found out too much of the conspiracy underpinning the whole case, and people are turning against her!

Pencil sketch of two figures against a large window opening out into outer space. A young woman is getting up from the floor and pointing a gun at a man who is pointing a gun at her in return.

Cheerful portrait of the rogue archivist Meredith Black. She's wearing a frilly white sundress with dark brown leather boots and a dark brown leather jacket, and she's posed like she's starting to spin around.

Digital painting of a young lobster woman with blue hair, blue antennae, and blue claws. She's holding her hands up to her face in cheerful excitement.

Ink drawing with digital coloring added, depicting three figures standing dramatically against a bold yellow and orange sunset. One, a woman with pigtails and glasses who is holding a sword. Another, a woman with blue hair and blue lobster antennae and claws. The third, a person of unspecified gender with black hair longer in the front than in the back, holding a shotgun.

A pencil drawing of two women standing in front of a ruined wall overlooking the ocean. One of them has her hair in pigtails and is holding a shotgun. The other has lobster pincers for hands.

In the world of Azure Claw Comics, Azzura and Meredith occasionally have to venture into the less-visited parts of town where the Sovereign occupation watches over everything. And sometimes, this leads to danger!

Azure Claw Comics character art! For my first mini-comic, "Ninja Thief vs. Undead Hunter", I drew these character models of Izumi Yamazaki and Steve Makar, and I made them transparent and in full color just for fun. You can read that mini-comic here, by the way: azureclaw.com/comic/acc-0a...

Digitally colored ink drawing of a young lady wearing jeans and a crop top and ninja boots, with athletic tape on her arms and legs, carrying a wakizashi like she means business.

Here's another quick bit of old fan art for #Moonshell_Island by @goawayimcrabby.bsky.social. This is my interpretation of Crabby going home to meet his parents. In my AU, Crabby comes from a family of regular hermit crabs and he's only now realizing how he's become different from them.

Pencil sketch of two realistically drawn hermit crabs wearing seashells as they are meeting a funny cartoon hermit crab wearing a slightly cracked mug. On the mug is written, "I (heart) Mom & Dad".

Character design is fun! Here are some black-and-white character designs from my second mini-comic, "Enemy of the Earth", which is readable on my website here: azureclaw.com/comic/xi-0b-0

Labeled "Azure Claw Comics: Enemy of the Earth - Azzura Silverstar (age 15)" and signed by Dave Vincenty. A front and back view of a teenage lobster girl with ripped jeans and a T-shirt, including a detailed look at the design on that T-shirt, reading "0x7E3".

Labeled "Azure Claw Comics: Enemy of the Earth - Jennika Phloog (age ???)" and signed by Dave Vincenty. A front and back character model of a stout older woman wearing an elaborate black business suit and sunglasses.

Here's another older drawing. This one features my fighting robot, Three, just relaxing and holding hands with an engineer named Julia Gaston. There are a lot of things to worry about in this high-tech cybernetic future, but at least they have each other. For now.

Here's something from an older project. In fact, it's not just from an older project, but it's an old experiment in using brown charcoal pencils, connected to an older project! That's something I don't do often! The evil Valdis (on the right) is genetically engineered to be part cow!

A charcoal pencil drawing in gray and brown of three characters resting on a couch in a dilapidated old environment like an old storage place or something. We've got a young man in the middle, sitting with his head down, and a young woman to the left of him, resting her head in his lap. And then to the right of him, we see a mysterious cow woman in a long overcoat resting her head on his shoulder.

Here's another quick #Moonshell_Island fan art drawing I did as a little tribute to @goawayimcrabby.bsky.social ! In a true asSAMsin style, our protagonist sits on a bench, keeping a low profile to hide from the armed gourds! Also, @bjoern.neocities.org makes a cameo to bear witness!

A sketchy pencil drawing of three characters on a park bench: a bear, a young lady with her hood pulled up over her baseball cap, and a shark. In front of them, two large gourds dressed as the guards from Assassin's Creed 2 are looking around suspiciously.

Throwback to my first and most ambitious fan art I ever did for #Moonshell_Island by @goawayimcrabby.bsky.social ! In this one, Sam and Crabby take on their most dangerous enemy yet! The mega-sized nomster known as the Mock Duck! Are two whisks enough to take on this intense foe?!

Illustration of a dramatic scene by a coast somewhere, of a young woman wielding two whisks as weapons sliding up to the edge of a cliff and getting ready to take on a giant duck monster which is currently attacking and being attacked by the young woman's hermit crab friend.

In Azzura Silverstar's dystopian future, it's not often safe to show that you're one of the Seafolk; however, there are still some places where it's safe! Azzura likes to go to these places and bring her adoptive human family and her good friend Meredith. Today, they're getting ice cream cones!

A partially colored ink drawing of five figures standing outside a restaurant offering "Many Scoops" of ice cream. From left to right: A young woman with pigtails and glasses wearing a sundress, a lobster woman with blue hair and pincers, a young girl with short hair wearing a dress, an older woman wearing a T-shirt and shorts, and an older man wearing shorts and a tank top. They are all eating ice cream cones stacked high with ice cream.

Unfinished pencil sketch of two women sitting together. One with glasses and pigtails, and another with lobster claws and antennae, leaning on the first woman with a big smile on her face.

Unfinished pencil sketch of some kind of forest fairy woman with a gun, crouching on the side of a tree and firing that gun at some unseen threat.

Azzura Silverstar and her friends live in a dystopian future under constant threat from the occupying alien army. But it's not all bad! Sometimes, there are fancy events to go to! Here we see Azzura and Meredith dressing their best to attend a special event! Where do you think they're going?

Pencil drawing of two women standing together happily. One, in the back, is wearing glasses and a fancy evening suit with the collar unbuttoned, and she has her hair in pigtails. The other one is wearing a fancy evening gown, and she has the antennae and pincers of a lobster.

Detailed pencil sketch of a robot woman pointing a gun at an unseen enemy. She's scratched-up and wounded, and her mechanical forearm is broken and emitting smoke. Behind her, in some technological wreckage, three children are cowering behind the robot woman.

Pencil sketch of a fight between a little robot in a dress with double wrist blades, and a robot woman who looks unarmed but is no less confident. The first robot is going for a stab, while the robot woman avoids the stab and is preparing to strike back with a punch.
