If you're lazy, or if you want something good to eat and don't want to do a lot of prep, there are chili seasoning packs, like this one that make a perfect, smaller pot of chili (if you don't want to freeze leftovers). To be honest, a nice thing about moving away from where I was in Northern lower MI was getting away with people with this kind of mindset. This was on the social media of a former neighbor. The anger, the hatred, in those small communities... it runs like poison through their veins.🥺
