Looking back, I don't see how anyone can say Deltarune Chapter 5 wasn't a disappointment when there wasn't even a scene where Jackenstein's pumpkin goes to the cellar in Ralsei's castle and says to King, "YOUR KING". It was the most obvious thing and they blew it.

Sometimes I get fooled into thinking that the pixel art aesthetic is a relatively recent thing that wasn't as defined back in the day because CRT display technology made things look more convincingly real. ...and then I remember that a lot of NES box art looks like this.

Much as I appreciate modern versions of Sonic 1 and 2 having a save system, part of me misses the feeling of gathering more lives and continues in the early game so you can better survive the later parts you previously got a game over to.
