Angel at Dusk is such a funny shmup. It has this RPG mode with different weapons and you set your loadout and it gets kinds boring after some time. But if you somehow make it to stage 28 you suddenly get new stages backgrounds, music and bosses. Maybe give me that in arcade mode?

Combining the names of Mode+Difficulty+Ship Type in Angel of Dusk gives you some banger titles for trve kvlt black metal albums. FALLEN EXTINCTION CHAOS If you make it monochrome and up the contrast it even looks like an album cover.

Today I learned, that in the Crimzon Clover folder, there are pdfs explaining the superplay replays along with a few more for detailed mechanics and scoring tips. Even giving you the exact wave order for Time Attack. The enemies have freaking names...... It's a whole shmup strategy guide!

Huh, really? Most shmup spaces I've seen just play and talk about all kinds of shmup. With Touhou being very take it or leave it. So perhaps a better kind of world is possible.

Axeley, when I was... I dunno 12-13? What helped me get it was that I was a kid willing to retry it over and over. Also it was really cool. And easy mode so it wasn't that hard.

Went to burger king and saw that if you get a specific burger you get a dragon ball figure. I was torn between Picollo and Goku but settled on Goku. He had black hair on the picture so who the hell is this bootleg ass? I could have had Picollo, he was cool in dragon ball abridged.

I only watched one video on Touhou and it poisoned my recommendations on youtube to not show me any shmup stuff anymore, just Touhou. It thinks I care about the characters, the world, the lore. All because I thought watching Jaimers clear lunatic on the EoSD remake would be fun... :'(

Hahaha, the replay desynced st the end of stage 1 and several times throughout. It rights itself after every stage but it's bizarre. At the last phases of bosses the replay just crashes into them.

As you can see here, I scored worse than in any of the novice runs. I rawdogged the run. Surprised I did it without doing at leaste a little routing.

A list of saved replays for Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu (DFK), also known as Dodonpachi Ressurection.

It shows the scores of each run, with the Normal mode clear being the lowest scoring one that cleared. There is a Novice mode run that failed in stage 5 with almost ten times the score.

I just got the 1-All in DFK 1.5, not fulfilling requirements for a second loop. Still, unthinkable to me, even just a year or so ago, when I last tried and barely made it through Novice 1.5 Sadly steam didn't record sound for this game, so I'll have to go back in to record the replay another time.

Hello, I'm not American, but this is how I talk, apparently.

A heatmap showing what my dialect is most like. It highlights the northeast in particular. Most of the rest is very cold, save for the western edge where it gets slightly warmer and for some reason Hawaii is also very warm.

I tried out Like Dreamer. And man, the game on Maniac doesn't -really- go until the final stage. But then it does go pretty hard. I almost switched to Expert, but I feel I may regret that.

1st Clear was Viper, went down to the last hit of my last life. Today, got 2Miss with a clutched final boss. Vid goes from me losing my last bomb that life to clearing. Shmuppin' crazy style. I was almost a little worried. I was actually going for a no miss because it seems hard but attainable.

Hold on... there's a stage extend in Blue Wish Desire here? How do I even trigger it? it's not on the shmups wiki. Did it happen because I hypered on top of the treasure? it didn't release any medals at least. So perhaps... Knowing how to get one extra life would make the game so much easier.

Cleared Blue Wish Desire after a couple tries. Original mode, is, the perfect "Normal" mode for my skill level. Attainable but still takes a few tries. Beat it on my last hit, like the STGods intended. Grade-A shmup. I got 6th in the leaderboards, which is last place :) youtu.be/EzdfO2EUHHI
