I think much of the AI backlash comes from AI execs acting like they were the saviors of humanity for investing in AI. We all know dam well from the internet and social media that any tech can be corrupted so AI execs anointing themselves king of the world likely set off red flags in a lot of people

A lot of this leads back to the pandemic- after the shut down, genz men didn't have a community to return to & nefarious forces of the manosphere lured young men with a combo of "get rich quick" and "not your fault"

Not to one up your dad Eric, but on 9/11 my dads flight got rerouted to Charlotte and he was swooped up by a USAirways gate agent as the airport was closing, who took him and 3 others to her moms house where they proceeded to feed and house 4 strangers for the next 3 days. And no. No chance today
