📣New paper! In a corpus of conversational interaction, we found a different rhythm of turn-taking in autistic speaker pairs, along with an effect of conversational context. Across groups, speakers adjusted silent-gap length to balance interactional preferences with communicative efficiency.

Last month, Simon Wehrle presented joint work with Malin Spaniol, Kai Vogeley & Martine Grice at INSAR 2026, the world's largest autism research conference in Prague 🇨🇿. It was a great chance to learn about the latest research in the field and connect with colleagues from around the world! 🤩
