iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 19/05/2026It not unusual for magic users personal grimoire to become a de facto journal. Younger practitioners are encouraged to keep a record of their experiences and how they affect their abilities. Of the team, Eleanor has the most detailed grimoire, though her spells for EDC are kept in a different book 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 27/04/2026Gabriel has a mug nicked from the desk of the London demesne chief of security. He snatched it on his way out of the office after London tried to detain him for refusing to force Eleanor to return home. It now holds the pens he has lifted from other demesne officials who annoy him. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 21/04/2026Gabriel did miss home when he was at the academy. Now, home is the "cabin" he and Eleanor live in. Or wherever they are at the moment. Or at Tish and Anita's villa. Basically, hone is a mindset for the team. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 20/04/2026One would think that with three women and one shower, it would be awful. Gabriel is actually the worst offender, constantly shedding his body hair despite Tish best efforts to create a body wash to limit it. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 20/04/2026The closest anyone has come to cheating was Gabriel. It is referred to as "the incident," and was the catalyst for Gabriel and Eleanor finally acknowledging their relationship. This conversation would lead to another conversation and the formation of the team. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 20/04/2026The team is not known as the Combat Polycule for nothing, though some pairings (Gabriel/ Anita) only happen under certain circumstances. The team has clear rules for outside partners, and have reached the point where they can communicate consent across a room with a subtle gesture. 110
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 11/04/2026Anita heard Gordon Lightfoot's Sundown when she came over to work at the cabin and has not been able to forget it. Tish hasn't been able get Equestria Girls out of her head because Gabriel's revenge has been a long time coming. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 11/04/2026Gabriel has had Uptown Funk stuck in his head for the last week and doesn't know why. (Eleanor sang it at karaoke night.) Eleanor has Shut Up and Dance With Me stuck on her head after Gabriel dragged her up to dance to the song at karaoke night. 110
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 10/04/2026Thanks to training with his uncle, Gabriel can not only spot constellations, but also navigate by the stars as well. It seemed like a useless skill right up until he had to lead a group back to their camp in the middle of the night. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 09/04/2026Eleanor has a high pain tolerance. Not only does she need it as a spellcaster, as sone spells can cause thermal backwash, but her old wound still troubles her. Randomly getting pain the equivalent of period cramps and not showing it to outsiders is as much about her pride as it is her privacy. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 09/04/2026Gabriel has a high tolerance for pain, but he only relies on it when they training or on a mission. Aches and pain are signs that something is wrong and he can't risk having things wrong with his body during a fight. 110

iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 04/04/2026Anita has been devoting time to figuring a way to use magic to start filtering plastics out of water. iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 04/04/2026Gabriel is still working on his dissertation on Magic, the Great Fading, and Native Resistance in the Southwest United States. It is far from done, but he has made enough progress to be asked to present at a symposium in the Pueblo Demesne. 1/ 110
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Because of her happy-go-lucky attitude, several people have tried to scam Tish. Subpar ingredients, fake returns, reselling her potions, she has seen it all. This has mostly stopped, since her customers are loyal, and her vengeance is explosively diuretic. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 31/03/2026It should be noted that Gabriel had to reshape it with magic. It turns out Tish's idea of a "Sand Sex Couch" was not the greatest idea. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 31/03/2026Living on the shores of Lake Michigan, Gabriel built plenty as a child. Anita built a few in the sand bed of the family compound, mostly as a training exercise while being tutored by her grandfather. It would only be after graduation that Eleanor or Tish would build a castle. 110
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 30/03/2026Gabriel would have to remind her not to start enchanting it. Gabriel would start building one of the mega submarine or spaceship sets from his childhood. 020
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 30/03/2026Eleanor would spend most of the afternoon sorting the pieces so she could build a skyscraper in layers of colors. iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 28/03/2026Before Tish and Anita were fully out, Tish started the rumor that Gabriel was the ladies sub. At first, Gabriel didn't find it funny, but with each passing version, he participated a little more until the rumors grew so outlandish people finally called their bluff. 010

iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 26/03/2026If there were nasty Darkspawn hiding inside? Yes. Otherwise, only if it were a guided tour. Gabriel had a bad experience on a mundane school trip in a cave before the Academy. Getting left in a cave without any light source after bullies take your flashlight at the end of a tunnel left a mark. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 24/03/2026Gabriel mostly feels pity for The Revenants as the story progresses. While trying to figure out why they attacked the academy and the Team, they slowly learn about the dark origins of the group. His sympathy is tempered by the who violence thing, however. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 23/03/2026The team was never intended to be that at all. I went out of the way to describe Gabriel as being barely plain, Tish originally had severe acne, and Eleanor was still in the awkward gangly phase. The fact that they are extremely fit was incidental to the story. 000
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 22/03/2026Eleanor will wear a suit when she teaches or wants to look professional. Eleanor, Anita, and Tish love the opportunity to dress up. Since Eleanor found that she enjoys sewing, all three have a constantly changing wardrobe of fancy clothes. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 22/03/2026Gabriel wears suits when he has to dress up. He prefers a tasteful double breastfed black suit for most occasions. When he has to get really fancy, like demesne or Academy gala, he owns a tuxedo. The tuxedo and a Nehru suit were gifts from Anita's father the first time he visited. 110
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 20/03/2026The team almost exclusively read silently, since they are used to studying in close proximity to each other. However, they will stop to read relevant passages to the others. This usually leads to a discussion or critique of what they just read. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 20/03/2026On vacation this past week I had a 1 inch Crescent sunburn on the right side of my neck and and on the tip of my nose. The neck sunburn came from the gap between my neck tube and shirt where my ear buds pulled it back. The nose sunburn made look like I was a drunk. 110
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 20/03/2026Everyone in the Combat Polycule is perfectly comfortable with initiating sex. Tish is the most likely to start something, followed by Eleanor. Gabriel and Anita are less likely, simply because their partner is more likely to have made the first move. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 16/03/2026None of the team would kill it, but they would be concerned because it somehow made it through the wards. That means something nastier can get in... or is already there. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 14/03/2026Gabriel likes to think he doesn't need these, but ends up doing things that leave an impact on Eleanor. He once threatened to go towar with the London Demsne when they tried to kidnap Eleanor. He filed paperwork with multiple local agencies to begin the process of becoming foster parents for her. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 11/03/2026In the magic world, there are void spaces that can be created on a temporary basis. iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 11/03/2026One of the reasons that Tish and Anita keep their own villa is that it has a large garden attached to it. This supplies a good portion of the herbs she needs for her alchemy. Tish and Anita do some of the basic maintenance, but the real gardener is one of Tish's many cousins. 010

iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 28/02/2026Gabriel and Eleanor invested in a fancy shower with the built in sound system. Gabriel will mark time, and even shadow direct the music. Eleanor just enjoys the sensations. Tish is belting out the greatest hits in the shower, much to Anita's amusement. She prefers to hum nonsense to herself instead 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 28/02/2026Until the Team graduates from the academy, it was a rare occasion for one of them to shower alone. It was only when they were able to set up their own wards did they feel comfortable with no watching their back. It took even longer for them to be comfortable being distracted in the showers. 110
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 16/02/2026While the team has killed, it has almost always been defensive. Gabriel is the only one who has killed in "Cold Blood." It bothers him that he does not regret it. Tish reminds him that the man was threatening to reveal that she know how to make a magical WMD, making her a target. 010
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 14/02/2026Gabriel is an excellent marksman at all ranges. Eleanor's expertise in spell casting makes her one of the top 10% of battle casters in the world. iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 11/02/2026In general, the team takes good care of their dental health. Magic makes it pretty easy to take care of your teeth. However, it can't regrow teeth, so Gabriel and Eleanor have implants. Anita has caps, and Tish has had to suffer through the Magical equivalent of a root canal. 030
iegeth.bsky.social @iegeth.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Due to wars between demesnes, there are a few demesne keeps that are abandoned.
