I just finished Titanfall 2 VR after having a really rough start to the week, and I NEEDED this. @/CircuitLord: You've made a damn good mod. I actually teared up a bit at the end. (You know what you did!) This is the gold standard for VR games. Legit 10/10 on top of a 10/10 game.

Quick note, too: This issue MOSTLY affects programs that load a ton of small files all in sequence. It seems that self-contained executables and games that use larger archive files aren't really affected. Please let me know if this worked for you!

Oh no: I mean within the monitor’s settings. Apparently that can cause connectivity weirdness before booting into your OS. Hence: A black screen instead of the BIOS. 😭

Had to spend more time than I like admitting repairing my PC tonight. Note: Do not panic if Windows doesn’t boot properly. Recovery USB drives are easy to set up. Also: Don’t turn on “Fast Startup” on a HDR OLED monitor. Apparently seeing the BIOS is a 50/50 shot then. 😬
