At participating DQs in the U.S., $1 or more from every BLIZZARD sold next Thursday, July 30, is donated to support treatments, research & care at local children's hospitals through Children's Miracle Network. It's a day when DQ crew & fans come together to make a difference in their communities.

Thanks to all applicants over the past 2 weeks for the accountant job in Louisville. We're not used to hiring at the office, there's not much turnover & hiring is more focused on the DQs from VA to IN, so we appreciate patience from the 90 LinkedIn & Indeed candidates. Will send notifications asap.

Thanks to Fairdale High School for their tribute to our Dairy Queen partner, Jim Carroll, on the football field for this week's first home game. Jim passed away recently, & the DQ logo in the team's colors symbolizes the bond our DQ has with Fairdale as a sponsor, & highlights Jim's philanthropy.

Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and employees of Jim Carroll today. Jim passed away yesterday evening after a valiant battle against cancer. Jim was our joint venture partner at Dairy Queen of Fairdale, Kentucky.

About 40 years ago. Louisville, Kentucky. Michael Kull in foreground to the right. No idea where this version of Andy Dandytale ended up. Lost to time, like so many other Druther's - Burger Queen things!

A 25-30 foot tall blow up version of 1980s fast food mascot Andy Dandytale, being erected in a parking lot in Louisville, Kentucky, with four Druther's corporate employees checking it out.

2025 marks our 35th year as part of the World of Dairy Queen. In 1990, Druther’s agreed to become a territory operator for DQ & converted 117 Druther’s locations in six states to the DQ brand. While our company was never acquired, our locations & executives played an important role in DQ.
